Good. I hope the Gnats come back and win this game. That would mean one game closer to the firing of that clown of a manager we have.

It won't matter much with dumb and dumber running the show.

They'd just hire another puppet to implement their lineups, it would make no difference

At this point all you can do is just laugh.

Pearson once touted as a talented prospect now officially a bust!

Maybe Schneider is saving Swanson for the 8th or 9th.

Good to see Varsho with a good game out of the 2-hole. No idea why Jansen is batting 7th. He should be hitting cleanup or 5th.

6 runs despite Springer/Vlad/Bichette going 3 for 13 with 3 singles.

We don't want to hurt Springer's feelings! let's keep him in that leadoff spot with that stellar batting Average and On-base percentage.

Last 7 games for Springer.

AVG .138
OBP .161
SLG .172

I did not watch the game, but checked the box score now. Can someone who is a lot intelligent than me explain to me why Davis Schneider was not playing, but scrubs like Cavan Biggio and Vogelbach (combined 0 for 9 today) were in the lineup?

Biggio is now 1 for his last 22. However, the 6 year love affair with scrub Biggio is never ending, as he hovers around with his .200 BA. Vogelbach is 3 for 23 (.107 BA for the year), and we seen what he brings to the table based on his 8 year MLB career. Not sure what Analytics Data tells this front office that sitting Davis Schneider in favour of Biggio or Vogelbach was the right course of action today.

Undeserved win. And couldnt have come at the worst time too. They were gifted all 4 of those runs in the first inning on some truly unbelievable errors from the Nats and then as per usual couldnt do jack crap for the rest of the game. This win literally got Schneider of the hook for losing his job, which was almost a certainty had they been swept by the Nats.
