2 game series starting tonight, Paul Maholm takes the mound at 1-5 against John Lannan (2-5) and the Washington Nationals. At some point, the Pirates were at .500 but have lost 5 in a row. This would be a good shot for the Nats to get above .500. Even though they only took 1 game out of 3 against the Marlins, they were in every game and easily could have won that series.
