Fish (7-6) at Nats (10-4)

Post#1 » by Jollay » Fri Apr 20, 2012 1:37 pm

First place Nats take on the Marlins, who come in on a four-game winning streak.

Zambrano versus Detwiller tonight. Wish I was going so I could have a few choice words with Zambrano as he's warming up by my seats.

Saturday is Strasburg as well as Pups in the Park. My dog is loved there by the custodial staff, as he vacuums up every peanut shell he can find when he goes.

Both days, especially Sunday, might be marred by rain. Sunday might not be played looking at the forecast...

Good win today and yesterday by the Nats. Grinding out these divisional games early will be a bug help down the road. Gio is on the bump tomorrow a good chance for the sweep, although Johnson is a very good pitcher. Btw this article was on espn yesterday a good one about the pitching staff.

And hello new to this forum but a lot time Nats fan. Originally from Chicago now I live in Rome. Been a few nationals boards but they never get any traffic. This doesn't look like a whole lot either but now maybe we've got the hot start some people will come out of the woodwork.

Welcome! I am trying to get more people on board since the team is playing extremely well but no one seems to be biting.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!

Yes, welcome! Glad to have you!

Nats go on a six game out west now. Rainout Sunday actually gives players a much easier travel day.

San Diego and the Dodgers, should be a very interesting road trip. The Pads are awful offensively. Kemp is on a tear for the Dodgers. I believe Friday is the night Kershaw goes up against Strasburg. That should be awesome.
