What NFL teams would be the best if players were back in their primes?

Post#1 » by Dee45 » Sun Feb 4, 2024 5:53 am

Meaning, older players are restored back into their primes with players who are currently in their primes, also injured players like Joe Borrow, Nick Chubbs, etc. are back to being healthy in this scenario. What teams would drastically improve, especially the teams that did not make the playoffs?

Jets with the Packers versions of Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb.
Chiefs with MVP level Patrick Mahomes and a prime Travis Kelce.
Ravens with Lamar Jackson and a prime Odell Beckham Jr.
Raiders with the 2019 49ers version of Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams.
Bengals with the 2021 Joe Borrow.
Eagles with Jalen Hurts, Falcons version of Julio Jones, and Jason Kelce.
Browns with Texans Deshaun Watson, Ravens Joe Flacco, a healthy Nick Chubbs, Amari Cooper, and 2017 Chiefs version of Kareem Hunt.
Patriots with 2021 rookie Mac Jones, 2016 rookie Ezekiel Elliot with the Cowboys, and 2018 Steelers version of JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Broncos with Seahawks Russell Wilson.

Von Miller in his prime basically dragged a decrepit Peyton Manning to a SB win.

So definitely Bills, especially if injured players count as in their prime: 1st team All-Pros Tre White, Matt Milano. Plus Stefon Diggs who had a down year.

What about the 49ers with the pre-Injury Predator?

Obviously Jets improve the most from this, and Browns also add quite a bit of talent. The Eagles are nice because they still have some guys like Superbowl team like Cox, Johnson, Graham, Kelce who get to be peak versions. I like Rams getting to pair peak Kupp with Nacua along with getting prime Lions Stafford and younger Donald.

Eagles WR's would be AJ Brown, Julio Jones, De'Vonte Smith, and Alshon Jeffery. I would feel sorry for the defensive backs. A fully healthy Jason Peters at LT and Brandon Brooks at RG to go with Kelce and Johnson on the o-line. Legarrette Blount and D'Andre Swift in the backfield. Two TE set would be prime Ertz and Goedart. That is a murderous offense. Brady puts up 40+ a game with that team.
