If you were him would you want to play QB for any of those top 5 teams? I wouldn't. :talkhand:

So is Tony Pollard completely cooked? He's a shell of what he was last year. No explosiveness.

He’s not coming into the game after the DL has already been beat up.

Nah you’re due to go 3-6. Got burned early (Pats and Over in Germany so 0-2 to start the week)

Then Jaguars went to 0-3.

Cowboys, Cardinals cover so recovered a bit to 2-3 and hopefully Jets brings me to an even .500 for the day. LOL

There’s no way the Raiders would hire Pierce as the permanent HC right?

CeeDee Lamb low key might have just had the greatest 3 game stretch for a WR in NFL history.

Maybe he can make it 4.. .

Almost as good as Travis Fulgham's 3-game stretch.

What were Travis’ numbers during his 3 game stretch?

He’s got 7 games to plead his case. Worth seeing if he can earn it. He apparently has the room and that counts for something.

Yeah it's a big difference being the primary RB. Still, even when he does have a hole opened up he isn't bursting through like he did last year. The broken leg obviously has impacted him but it's not great when Rico Dowdle looks more explosive than Pollard. Looking at the stats, Pollard is worse YPA than Zeke's numbers this year and last year.

I like how Dowdle played yesterday but I would still like for us to look at the FA RBs and see if there is a big body available for goal line work. Zeke was a beast in short yardage situations and we miss that a lot.

Fournette is the biggest name available probably but he's always been very fickle. I wonder about Mark Ingram. Adrian Peterson could even fill that role pretty nicely too as a big goal line back (he might be too old, idk)

Almost as good as Travis Fulgham's 3-game stretch.

What were Travis’ numbers during his 3 game stretch?

CeeDee Lamb in the last three games: 34 receptions, 500 yards, 3 touchdowns

To compare with 3 games for Fulgham it would be: 21 receptions, 300 yards, 2 touchdowns.

I think Lamb's 3 game stretch more favorably compares with AJ Brown, Justin Jefferon and Tyreek Hill this year.

Best 3 weeks for Brown: 24 receptions, 433 yards, 2 touchdowns. Brown had an amazing 6 game stretch though where he went over 125 yards each game.

Jefferson's first three weeks this year: 27 receptions, 458 yards and 1 touchdown. Lamb's is better.

Hill's best 3 weeks: 25 receptions, 432 yards, 3 TDs. Lamb's is better.

So Lamb has had the best 3 weeks of anyone this year for sure, but of all time? That seems unlikely. Just quickly looking at 3 HoF WRs Jerry Rice, Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson we see better or comparable 3 week runs.

Jerry Rice 1995 best 3 weeks: 32 receptions, 563 yards and 3 touchdowns. Each game he went over 100 yards but it includes a massive 289 yard game with 3 touchdowns. So I guess Lamb's stretch is debatable with Rice's here as it's more evenly spread out.

Randy Moss 2007: 22 receptions, 403 yards and 5 touchdowns. Moss has fewer receptions and yards, but has 2 more TDs than Lamb.

Calvin Johnson 2011: 24 receptions, 560 yards 4 touchdowns. This is better than Lamb's and probably better than Rice's too.

Calvin Johnson 2012: 25 receptions, 490 yards and 3 TDs. Same as Lamb this year.

Calvin Johnson 2013: 29 receptions, 567 yards and 5 touchdowns. This is better than Lambs and better than Rice's 3 game stretch too.

I thought that might be the greatest 3 game stretch of all time until I saw this:

Wes Chandler 1982: 21 receptions, 500 yards and 7 touchdowns. CJ has the yards and catches, but 7 touchdowns is wild.

I thought that might be the greatest 3 game stretch until I saw this:

Josh Gordon 2013: 21 receptions, 649 yards and 4 touchdowns. That's insane. I'm going to call this the best 3 game stretch.

I looked at several others too. Julio Jones also had a really good stretch is 2015, but not as good as the ones noted here. Terrell Owens, Larry Fitzgerald, Cooper Kupp and Antonio Brown had good stretches but in that group only Brown had a stretch where he went over 400 yards in 3 games. Isaac Bruce, Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt also don't quite get to the levels mentioned above.

TL;DR: Lamb's 3 game stretch is the best this year but not the best all time. It compares favorably to some others but he is outshined by Jerry Rice in 1995, Calvin Johnson in 2011 and 2013, Wes Chandler in 1982 and Josh Gordon in 2013 who had probably the best 3 game stretch of all time.

QB_Eagles was joking. Fulgham had a decent 4-5 game stretch in 2020 when alshon Jeffery was injured. A lot of people were overhyping that stretch, I think he was one of the top fantasy WRs after week 4 or 5 if I remember correctly. When alshon came back, fulgham went back to the bench. That stretch of games made up for like 90% of the production Fulgham had in his entire career..lol
