Green Bay and Minnesota are falling apart. This division might be the taking for the Lions

Hey Green Bay. Christine Michael and Darren McFadden are available. One more than the other. What are you waiting for?

The Pack claimed him.

It was obvious that the Packers will go for him. Solid addition, they were in need of an upgrade on the RB big time.

Vikings place a claim as well btw...

Things aren't so hunky dory in New England either, lol. Some minor infighting and accusations that Bellicheat has lost the locker room a bit. Some are pissed about the Collins trade. I guess that may be a contributing factor why their defense hasn't looked so good lately. Now Gronk out and Hurt. Brady imho is starting to show his age finally this year now that he has 5 games in. To me he really didn't look good except for the very first drive of the game. Oh the other hand I can cut Brady some slack here because Seattle does that to a lot of teams. However, we have seen in the past when players like Gronk go down then Brady and others start getting banged up and they aren't the same team. I'm starting to feel the AFC champion is coming out of the AFC west.

Yeah, you get to talk & boast about it. Case in point a certain Dallas fan on this forum.

Time for the Lions to get some love.

Stafford playing like a MVP
Defense beginning to turn it around even without Ansah and Levy
Doing all this with a suspect run game as well.

Encouraging, but as a long time Lions fan, its scary getting your hopes up. lol

I feel like having AP is one of those "sounds good on paper" type of moves for the Packers but that they could probably do better tbh

AP would need a lot of touches to really help, has never been an amazing receiving back, isn't the best pass blocker, and is coming off an injury plagued season at 31 years old.

I don't see how taking the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hand's to force it to a RB in his twilight would be a good idea.

If the Packers ever got a RB who was a dynamic catcher out of the backfield they would be scary good on offense.

James Starks wasn't that type of guy, Lacy clearly wasn't that type of guy, and AP wouldn't be any different.

You give Aaron Rodgers a guy to check the ball down to who can still give you 5-6 yards from nothing, look out. A Brian Westbrook or Darren Sproles type of player, those are the first two that come to mind for me.

Can't remember the Packers having one of those types for a while, Ahman Green is probably the last one who you could really say was a threat to catch out of the backfield

Dalvin Cook from Florida State could be the missing piece at Running back the Packers are looking for.

Sounds more and more like he is dropping out of the 1st round... less about his so-called character issues and more about physical issues. Not sure how much of that is fake news and how much is "real" but lots of front offices are moving Mixon ahead of him.
