Good I hope he slides because of that and Minny can jump up and get him haha.

You better have a good offensive line.

Let me get back to you on that...

Maybe they just need dominant WRs who win and separate quickly.

Stroud put up big numbers at OSU so he must have done some things right.

Didn't he have a big game vs. GA, even though OSU lost?

Richardson over Stroud is an easy call for me.

Well the early return is that the Texans may have something with Stroud.

Bryce may prove himself too. He has a nice easy compact motion I noticed but this was in the drive in garbage time when they got a TD at the end.

But great ball placement to move the team down the field for a meaningless TD.

Question is can he make those throws from within the pocket or does he have to escape the pocket to launch those.

And the other question of course is can he endure the punishment that NFL players, especially QBs, undergo?

If they give him one or two weapons who can win consistently and early, he seems likely to be able to find them and trigger decisively, the processing that everyone is now saying Fields lacks.

Imagine if Young had size and athletic attributes like Fields while being able to process.

Tyree Wilson not doing so hot. Any of the other Raider picks doing *anything* positive?!??!

Wilson was a project coming out of school.

No. He can fix all the other stuff but he is not built to play pro ball.

Panthers thought he could be like kyler murray with better attitude but problem is a) he doesn't have the compact, stout built like Murray b) Murray is also unlikely to last

It would be one thing if he fell on their lap but moving up was a dumb risk to take, now they might even miss out on next year's top picks

Just one more add on to this when it comes to the Murray comp. Agreed 100% he doesnt have the same build as Murray, but also not nearly the athlete Murray is also. Murray is a high tier athlete and especially when it comes to his quick motion movements. Young is a solid athlete, but he isnt on the Murray tier.

Question is can either make throws from the pocket or do they have to escape.

Kyler has an insane arm but I think many times he just threw it up and Hopkins would go up and get them.

If Bryce can process as well as advertised, he might be more like Brees than Kyler. Or Russell Wilson.

Or maybe Tua, who's bigger (especially thicker) but still a short guy. Right now, Tua is benefitting from weapons that attack the second level right away and Tua is on time almost all the time so hitting them in stride, letting them accelerate into and after the catch for big RAC.

Who knows if Carolina is going to prioritize speed now in the next couple of drafts.

at this point Carolina needs to get the best linemen every round and hope nobody ever touches Young.

Bryce will be fine.

1. The o-line is terrible. It might be the worst. Definitely bottom 3-5. I think Ekwonu will eventually have to move inside to Guard.
2. Adam Theilen is their best receiver/playmaker at the moment.

The roster simply isn't good enough.

Similar to what we're seeing with Tua, you put enough talent around him & he'll take off.

carolina's roster is better than chicago's, especially offensive line.

panthers o-line was pretty good last year, ekwonu had 4.9% pressure rate which is great for a rook. they'll get back on track but it is also difficult o-line to play from behind all the time, skews their pressure rate.

Chicago is the worst team in Football. Fields is a big reason why.

But Carolina isn't too far behind.

Ekwonu ranks 62nd/67- OT through three games. The numbers along the OL this year aren't good.

His top two targets are Theilen & Dj Chark.

Positives? They have some talent on defense & Evero is a good DC.

But offensively? It's not great.

But the problem is what they gave up to get him

He's not in that elite tier of prospect you give up everything to get, and giving up Moore and this year's 1st to get him with all the deficiencies on the roster is not good for his long term development.

so you are saying three games is better sample size than last year's 16? nonsense.

fields have less to work with in chicago than young has in carolina, saying young will take off with more talent while fields wont is not argument. likely both wont fulfill their hype, but unlike carolina chicago didnt give up the farm for fields and can rebuild again next year easily.

Bro, I'm saying Fields stinks. In his third year & he still struggles to read defenses. He doesn't have the feel to play the position & be good at this level.
