Daniel Jones and Mac Jones: I can't determine who's worse. I'm inclined to say Mac because he's not as good of an athlete as Daniel, but they're both awful.

At least Mac Jones didn't just sign a massive extension

$50 million for that in a couple years

I like his frame a lot better than Sauce although I’ve never been high on sauce. I prefer corners that are more compact

I'm just gonna repost what I wrote on the Knicks board about him:

What's kinda wild is, according to pro-football-ref, Jones has by far the least pocket time per play at 1.7 seconds (next fastest is Geno Smith and TLaw at 2.0 seconds each), but he's rarely blitzed, 28th in the league so far this year at 27 blitzes, meaning your guys are just getting straight up beat, and I assume that's causing issues further down, cause that means 7 or 8 guys are dropping into coverage nearly every snap, which makes it harder for Jones to find an open receiver in the no time he has to throw

He's also 34th in on target percentage (weirdly enough, Tua is 33rd and Josh Allen is 32nd, so take from that what you will), meaning he's not hitting his receivers, then add on he's 31st in intended air yards/pass attempt and 30th in YAC/Comp, and I think the overall picture of what's going wrong is basically everything

He has no time to throw, the receivers aren't really able to create space due to the defense staying back in coverage, he's not hitting them even when he does get the ball off, and even when he does hit them, they're not that far down field and they're not getting any YAC

I think a positive is that it really can't get any worse, so theoretically you guys should get better as the season goes on, but this is around the time that stuff starts to even out, so if it continues for another couple weeks, that's kind of it

Caleb Williams isn't saving this, but if you're in a position to get him, you have to.

Going along the lines of identifying however you want, man the giants have a weird identity this year.. they barely survived just enough to squeak into the playoffs last year so people thought they’d be a good team this year. But man their OL is horrible, Daniel Jones is their QB, and they got no weapons. I bought into the hype but I guess it shouldn’t be surprising how they’ve started this year
