You cant choke if you're the underdogs who were down from the get go.

Choking is what the 9ers did in the playoffs last year. The Cowboys have won a ring more recently than the 9ers and 9er fans are in absolutely no position to act superior. Now stop embarrassing yourself in here and win something before you get loud.

is it really choking when your roster is dealing with a lot of injuries, including the starting QB for the game?

Dolphins score big on mistakes. But have some flaws that I see are on the coach

It's hard to win with a gimmick offense like the Fins. The running game is inflated by a few huge games. They can't really sustain any run game like San Fran can. I think that's the key difference.

Dolphins have a brutal remaining schedule:

Jets
Cowboys
Ravens
Bills

Obviously a 2-2 result would be ideal but they can lose every game.

Although, I think they will beat the Cowboys easily.

I think the division will come down to that last game, and the other will get a wildcard. I really hope the Texans get one of the other wildcards. And I'd probably prefer the Browns get the other one. Because those teams haven't made it much recently.

I'd rather them than Pitt, Indy, Cincy or Denver.

Fins have a problem also with their offensive line. Like Tua almost have to get rid of the ball in 2 seconds or the defense is on top of him. They also can't run the ball with any power. Detroit has shown chinks in their armor. And now the dolphins are showing tons of weaknesses.

It’s weird to see the teams like that in the AFC. It seems like 2-11 have very little separation. Obviously the Bills have an elite point differential but even a team like the Colts could conceivably beat anyone not named Baltimore imo. Texans also.

At present I would probably go:

Ravens

Bills
Chiefs
Dolphins
Jags / Browns / Broncos
Steelers / Colts / Bengals / Texans

Thing about the Dolphins is they've had a ridiculously easy schedule

They've only beaten 1 team with an over .500 record, and that was the Broncos in week 3, back before they turned it around

I get you play who's on your schedule and they've only had 3 other games against over .500 teams, but still

Jags haven't really proven they're contenders either, with losing to the Chiefs, Browns, and Bengals and getting blown out by the Texans in week 3 and the 9ers in week 10, but we've also only had 3 games against teams with sub-.500 records so far (though to be fair our last 3 games are gonna be Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Tennessee, so potentially 3 more depending on how Tampa Bay and Tennessee do), so it's kind of the inverse of Miami in that regard. We're 5-5 against teams with winning records and 3-0 against teams with losing records, Miami is 8-1 against teams with losing records and 1-3 against teams with winning records

It's not so simple as that, but Miami really hasn't proven they can win against good teams yet.

I think there will be a glitch in the system when Cowboys and Cowboys of AFC meet, no poor team to take advantage of.

Tua might have the stats but his inability to improvise and make the extra read really hurt Dolphins when the opponent takes Tyreek off the game. Good defensive coaches like Vrabel knows how to exploit this even if they are inferior talent wise.

Micah Parsons and the rest of the Dallas DL licking their chops.

No, it's simple. Since both teams can only beat poor teams, the loser becomes a poor team. Same as when the Cowboys beat the Eagles. They are effectively a sub .500 team now.

I think I mostly agree with your rankings, but I would have put Houston above the last group until this past week. But they had a bad game and Jake Browning is looking good for the Bengals. I am unsure if Joe Flacco can hold up all year for the Browns but they do have a one game lead on the others. I wish Watson was coming back. Flacco was a great clutch playoff QB back in the day though.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Ravens/Niners SB...rematch of that good one about a decade ago. Or Ravens/Eagles. Just no Cowboys please. Not sure any other NFC team has a chance in hell.

I don’t see any way Detroit beats Dallas in Dallas

So it’s pretty much up to Miami (who I have little faith in) and Buffalo (who I have more faith in) to help the eagles
