While you're technically right, this pretty much happens every year.

What's so surprising about the Seahawks losing to the Bills?

The Seahawks were without three of their top WR's. Matt Hassellbeck didn't play lot during Preseason because of a back injury that he's still dealing with.

They're not a good road team especially when they have to travel to the East Coast and against the a pretty improved Bills team in a tough venue.

This could be the highlight of the Bears season. Can't really knock the fans for being happy.

Well technically that is not every game so the "whole weekend" (implying every game was a surprise) was actually not a surprise.

Still not better than our highlight of last season...beating the Green Bay Packers twice.

Any doubts about the Bears defense after a sub par preseason and 2007 campaign should be gone now.

And we're already 1/3rd of the way to the 3 win total some people predicted.

The Seahawks were my Super Bowl Canidate team, and I thought the Bills were going to struggle today with Edwards at QB.

Bears looked pretty good. The defense played as a unit and not a bunch of talented individuals, good sign. I thought Forte ran decisively and didn't go down easy. I'll even give Lovie Smith credit for making a couple of nice tweaks during the game.

Indy looked real flat, and both Peyton and Marvin looked old. The rust showed for both of them, and it looked to me like they might not be able to burn all that rust off anymore. That 4th & 1 call was awful, no way you run to that gap against the Bears with an inexperienced OL.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I can see how you come to that conclusion with Harrison, but it seems way premature with regards to Manning.

Oh yea. He was just a little off in most of his passes and didn't seem to have the defense figured out like he almost always does. Cliff Levingston contributes some of that to the inexperienced middle of his offensive line. Harrison, Harris and Dvoracek controlled the middle for pretty much the entire game, put a little pressure on Manning up the middle and almost completely took the run game out of the equation. Great game by the Bears' defense even though it only really had a handful of big plays.

The Colts will rebound soon enough.

I thought Marvin played well other than that fumble which was really just a great play by Peanut. He had one long pass that he probbaly should have caught but it wasn't easy by any strech. The whole team just looked flat to me.
