You realize you just put them in the same sentence, right?

^^^^^^ Holmes was clutch in this game when it mattered. On another note, I will give the Cards some props for making this game very interesting and stepping up to the challenge to give the Steelers a fight to remember.

Congrats to the Steelers!

That was one great game, but how do you leave Holmes, the most dangerous receiver, open time and again? Let others beat you.

When Montana was Warner's age, he was rotting in Kansas City, not leading a team to the Super Bowl.

You can't examine things in a vacuum. Kurt Warner is a Hall of Famer, get use to it.

Anyone else kinda upset there was no mention of the Cards or credit by the Steelers coach or Ben or the owner of the Steelers. No even a mention of them etc.

I find that kind of disrespecting

I hope Holmgren doesn't go into broadcasting. He's uninteresting, slow, and disgusting to look at. Watching him makes me want to exercise and give up fried food.

You missed my point entirely, congrats. I never said Warner is as good as Montana, I simply meant that having great receivers doesn't detract from the greatness of a QB.

Warner has the highest QB rating in the playoffs in NFL history. He has played in 3 super bowls and has won one. He has two NFL MVP awards. Why doesn't he deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?

The Cards showed much more class that's for sure.

So going 9-5, and leading your team to the playoffs while throwing the ball to such illustrious receivers as Willie Davis and J.J. Birden and handing the ball off to a 34-year old Marcus Allen is what you call "rotting" huh?

I don't want Tony Dungy there either for the simple reason that he is a great person and is an excellent coach. The league needs more coaches like him.

It's interesting that on other forums everyone is saying that it was the worst officiated game they've ever watched. These are coming from non-Cardinal fans. It wasn't great officiating, but I'm not sure if it's the worst I've seen.

pretty good game.

after the 1st qtr i was shocked and was expecting an epic win by the steelers, but the cards had the guts and heart to get back, specially their defense.

definitely the key of the game was the interception to TD by the steelers, i'm pretty sure that if they had stopped him before getting to the TD arizona would be the winners.
