Grimes will have missed 26 of the 32 games that he was on the team this season.

Probably fair to note that he is out due to muscle soreness, rather than any ongoing concern with the knee itself per se. Not requiring surgery and presumably will be ready for a full off-season of training.

So in my little head, no surgery means he still going to be dealing with same **** for sure next year, unless he just doesn’t want to play through it this year, but will next. Weird no surgery but it keeps him out of games and seems to be a lingering thing

Surgery isn't a panacea. It may make sense if he was dealing with a ligament injury but the reports available suggest that isn't the case. Most non-ligamentous knee injuries are better managed conservatively.

It's possible that if were actually playing for something he could suit up and play through muscle soreness. But our season is lost and there's no point him risking further injury to get us from 13 to 15 wins.

I hope that’s the case man. Cause him and don’t should be able to help spread the floor. Font has already, so here’s to hoping, lol
