The Detroit Pistons are planning to sign guard Jaylen Nowell to a 10-day contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Finally, some action!

At some point, I look forward to the Pistons looking for additional help going into the playoffs, off the waiver wire.

Next season had better be amazing Weaver.

He better put that cap space to good use.. I still hope he trades our lottery pick. I've looked back at the history of lottery players and so many are busts are average players. We've waited long enough. Time to get some 2-way veterans who can play now, not "maybe 5 yrs from now he'll be good" BS

Nowell was very good for Minny in 21-22, but he regressed the next year, wasn't extended and this year he was terrible in a dysfunctional Memphis.

I kinda like him, as a scorer off the bench, but we have Sasser in that role alread and that should be Ivey's role, Ivey should not be starting.

If he could go back to his 21-22 form he would be the 3rd or 4th best player in our roster, so a 10 days contract doesn't hurt, he deserves a chance.

Weaver just trying to break that record from most different players to play for a franchise in a calendar year.

Do the Pistons sometimes feel like an 'NBA hospice' to you? ;-)

As of a few days ago, Memphis has the record, but we're close.

Now back to watching Apocalypse Nowell...
