Cade / Sasse
Ivey / Grimes
Thompson / Bey
Sarr / Fonteccio
Duren / Stewart

That looks like a really good squad

Bey wasn't happy with a backup role and an offer for less than MLE $ I highly doubt we'd consider Bey unless Atlanta renounced his rights and he was coming in on something like a 2 year deal at $4-5 million PER. IMO his stock dropped quite a bit he shot awful last year and then got a serious injury.
He's not getting a starting job on any team, especially with his injury concerns. But exploring a sign and trade with Wiseman and giving them a 2nds or two might work. The only thing that would be in question would be his relationship with the front office and who he had beef with.

No thanks on Bey. Streaky black hole on offense, weak defender.

Bey is a terrible defender/shooter, and is a black hole on offense. We don't need more of those.

He shouldn't take a minute from a Fontecchio or Ausar or Stanley Umude for that matter lol. Saddiq went so far down the weight room rabbit hole that he degraded the one legit NBA skill that he had coming into the league in the process. Best of luck to him, but not on this team.

He also recently blew out his ACL if you didn't recall, which can take up to a year to recover from, meaning he is almost certainly going to miss a chunk of next season.

Good, let his frequent injuries and huge salary derail their rebuild

Saddiq Bey is not an upgrade over the randos we had playing towards the end of the year.

Which is sad.

Weird that the Clippers aren't on this list at all. You'd think there are still relatively decent odds he just ends up back there.

Jonas Valanciunas is an interesting free agent. He's still a good player in this league but apparently him and Zion don't get along. He has ties to our front office as Casey was his former coach. I previously have stated that I only want guys who can shoot but I could see it making some sense to persue Jonas as a player to split time with Duren over the next two seasons before unleashing Duren into a bigger role/contract. I like Duren and his upside still but I could see the need for having another quality center on the roster after years of backup center garbage like Wiseman and Bagley.

Duren 24 / Jonas 24
Toppin 24 / Stewart 24
Font 24 / Ausar 24
Cade 33 / Grimes 15
Tyus 30 / Ivey 18

Plus a top 5 pick as our 11th man, Sasser at #12, Wiseman 3rd string center at #13, a veteran at #14 and our 2nd round pick or Umude at #15

Wowwww
I am loving your usage of my guy Tyus and even Obi. This lineup looks beautiful in my eyes 8-)
Even with or without Jonas. I'd be so happy with this even if it was just Stew at backup C and we found a nice vet that can give us some forward minutes with Ausar Fontecchio and Obi. Fantastic

Not sure about how much Toppin is worth. Indy has to use him off the bench as a scoring weapon for a reason

Hartenstein has a pregnant wife that will have zero interest in coming to Detroit there is no chance he comes to Detroit even if we offer the most money... she's only going to be ok living in New York, LA, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, etc. https://www.instagram.com/kourtney_kellar/?hl=en

Unless we're going to pay him way over market value I think we have no chance.

I'd be shocked to see Utah go for something like that, but I'd take it on our end.

Money wasn't the only reason Bey got moved. He rubbed some guys in the locker room on the court. I doubt he comes back.

He’s super last resort on my list.

What is an acceptable contract for him?
