No special insight, just picking guys who seem to fit with the general type of player those teams seem to value and then plugging in the only wing with an establish jumpshot for us. Of course, since we always seem to look for small guards or centers, maybe it should be sheppard or Clingan.
Castles combine measurements are wildly off his self reporting, and absolutely will affect his draft position. He's listed at 6'6, but at the combine hes 6'2.75.

No way on earth he goes before Sheppard.

People are speculating there was a mistake, but I haven't seen a correction...

I think Clingan slides. If Troy is still GM at draft time, we probably take him...

Clingan
Duren
Wiseman
Steward

All these big man and we still soft as shet! Personally, I go with Buzelis especially if Cade continues to play the point. Sheppard is the lesser talent but since we're so fixated with shooting, do you reach??

There's no way that Castle is that short, that has to be a mistake.

So what you're saying is he's taller than Cade?

Scrubbed the data apparently.

Yah, no way Castle is 6'2" unless Reed is 5'9"

I agree that I think Buzelis is the best fit for the Pistons outside the top 3. Pistons need a forward with range. I think that he would be a good fit for the Pistons with Duren and Cade.

I don't know any of these players, but every time I read a description, it seems to match up with a late lottery, mid first round expectation at best. Whoever wins this draft will likely be lucky.

Maybe the Pistons have been saving up their luck...

I feel like there are a lot of people who want Sheppard for this team, and there is a lot of pessimism on these boards. Most mocks do not have Sheppard as a top 4 pick but most people on this board are projecting him to go before we have a chance to pick him.

I think he makes too much sense for Houston at 3 because he pairs really well with all of their wings and should be able to contribute soon. He's perfect to pair with Amen off their bench for now.

The wildcard is they might trade the pick and then who knows.

I’ve seen about half and half, with Reed always going to Houston in those cases.

If Reed’s there, Pistons need to take him. He can hit shots and stuff.

I don't want any part of Sheppard. He seems like an ideal guard with a team like Orlando who has their bigs play point forward. Would love to see them trade up and get him just because I like what they are putting together.

Maybe I’m turning into Kirsten19…but I’m not drafting a short guard with short arms. No thanks to Sheppard.

We need a 3 or 4 that plays defense and can shoot more than anything. Drafting another guard would be completely insane unless we're drafting a potential star at the 2.

At least it's not a negative wingspan like a Desmond Bane and JJ Redick :D

His height and wingspan are basically identical to Steph Curry's. His max vert is 7 inches higher than Steph's. Just sayin.

If we end up drafting him, I hope his shot is a lot better than Wagner's. Wagner's crap shooting tanked the Magic in the playoffs this year.
