Once Grimes is fully back, watch out. Love the guy.

He was gassed down the stretch. Honestly this happens alot with him I've noticed. Seems like his conditioning isnt where it needs to be.

Still excited with what he showed today. He played great until the end when he was just completely gassed.

Maybe the karma from all the bad calls (no-calls) from the refs will balance out with draft lottery luck in the future

First 3 quarters he 100% looked like a star, even with the TOs... just a shame he wasn't able to finish this one out strong and get the W.

Yes there are moral victories when it''s a young team trying to find their way against a good established vet team on the road. Plus the refs sort of took it away from them.

To each their own, I'm not going to be miserable about every loss because what matters is young player development and the young guys showed out pretty well tonight. That's all that matters IMO. If it continues, they'll win some games.

This was a good game, "nightmare" is not a word I'd use for tonight or last game for that matter. Team is starting to play better, that's all that matters.

All true, but playing good teams to the wire is a big improvement from where we've been. Baby steps(?)

2nd chance pts for the Knicks and giving up 3 offensive rebounds in the last 30 seconds were the difference.

Grimes had one quarter of good offense in the past few games. I'm not sold just yet.

Hes a career 38% 3pt shooter whos in his 3rd season and plays elite defense. What he brings to the table is what we have been missing. You dont need every guy in the starting lineup to be a scorer.

Were seeing the flashes of greatness. If he can stay healthy, tighten up the handles and turnovers, and stop running out of gas in the 4th we got what we've been waiting for. These post all star break games got me as bullish as I've been in a long time on Cade.

Monty was pissed at the press conference. Bout damn time!

That no call at the end of the game is crazy. At the same time, we shouldn't have been in that situation. We gotta stop turning over the ball in clutch situations. Good game from our young guys. We're getting better.

Pissing Cade off really could be the one way Monty gets fired. That works for me.

I disagree. Sure, I want Ws as much as anyone, but we seem to be playing better. That counts. And I don't think we are the worst team in the league anymore - I'll let Washington and San Antonio fight for the crown.

It feels better to lose a close hard fought game than a blowout for sure... but it still doesn't feel good at this point in the rebuild to lose like that even if it was a close hard fought game.

I remember the end of Cade's rookie season we actually won about 50% of our games and even the losses felt good because they were close games and we were winning enough of the other games... This is not that at all at this point... we're in this never ending season of bull that just doesn't stop.

Spurs have Wemby though so it really doesnt matter.

Washington may end with a better record then us. That said their surely in a worse position then us. We have much better stuff.

Your best player having friction with your coach is never a good thing no matter what you hope happens to the coach as a result.
