Never been so hype for summer league.

Don't why it'd be curtains for Killian if he has an underwhelming summer league. I don't think he's the kind of player to show out against lesser competition, as an intangibles guy he probably gets better with the competition and his cast. Anyway, I fully expect him to grow this season with reduced pressure and expectations.

I think it would make zero sense to have Cade or Bey play in Summer League.

Agreed... he's younger than Bey.

Just bought my tickets for the first two games and booked my trip to Vegas. First ever Summer League and amped to get a glimpse at Ivey and Duren as Pistons. Any time from the returning squad will just be a bonus.

I think Cade, Killian, and Bey are just going to check in gor training, practice, and leadership. I doubt any of them play. If any got hurt it would be a waist.

Honestly, I'd prefer Killian not play.

He's not a particularly fun player to watch, and he's just plain not good. I don't think Hayes is long for the Detroit Pistons either.

I don't want to see Hayes siphoning minutes/touches from Ivey. Ivey could be truly electric in a summer league environment.

Scrubbiest of scrub filler on this roster. I can't believe Buddy Boeheim got a 2-way from Detroit.

I don't see why that would be make or break for Killian. He is already broke, but with Ivey we now don't need him to be great. We need him to focus on 3pt shooting and we can keep him on cheap as our 6th man.

Nothing in summer league is going to be make or break for anyone already on the Piston's roster. It's only that for the 2 way players and non-roster camp invitees.

I mean, when have you ever seen an instance where a team waives/lets go of a player based on summer league?

Bad threads just coming out of the woodwork today.

Hoping Cade isn't actually playing, but I do like he's headed out there to work out with all the young guys. Get some early reps with Ivey and Duren and help set the tone.

yeah i'd be absolutely shocked if cade, stewart or bey actually played, i'm sure they're just going to be "cheerleaders" and bond with the guys.

saddiq bey already looked out of place (in a good way) last summer league and i'm sure he only went to test his new on-ball skills.

I'm surprised Bey and Stew are even on the roster.

Cade might play a little, maybe a game or two.

maybe there's a rule that players have to be on the roster to practice? i really don't know what any of the three players would get from playing in the actual games.
