Elaborate. Just curious your take? My take was wanting overtime for banchero and Frans to try and get over 14.5 pts each, lol.

I hate to blame refs when the team sucks, but god damn the NBA really doesn't like the Pistons.

I think it is difficult to tell exactly what is going on in terms of structuring games and even more so with all of the live betting that is occurring today. In this particular case it looks like a magic win with a pistons cover was the desired outcome by Vegas.

Hard loss. We played well against an East playoff team. Ultimately it's on our guys to get the win, but it's frustrating when Paolo hits the game winner on a very blatant travel, and once again dealing with a reasonable FT disparity and Cade continuing to never get any calls on his drives to the rim.

Our team played well enough to win, refs thought differently though

If you guys want any kind of consolation, it wasn't a travel, it was just a great shot. I don't know if that matters to you all.

Don't need any consolation. He gathers, does a step back too strongly, and hops on his back foot. Clear travel even in todays NBA lol

It's 100% a travel he hops after his gather but the NBA also often doesn't call travels so I'm not surprised they didn't call it in that moment. Monty **** up per usual by never using his challenges on anything could have saved us a few point earlier in the fourth.

NBA TV showed a live look and man, we NEVER get any calls. I understand the worst team will never get 50/50 calls, but Cade goes to the hole and IS fouled, but no calls.

it was deemed a correct non-call in the two minute report:

Banchero (ORL) gathers the ball on his left foot and comes to a legal jump stop, allowing him to slide his right foot, establishing his left as his pivot. He then maintains his pivot foot before his upward shooting motion.

Yeah and so was the lions for decker not reporting. They rarely will admit to mistakes. Hell I’d bet the challenges the coaches do in the nba are still about 85-90% maybe higher non reversed, that’s why some coaches don’t even bother imo.

In the end, this is all on Monty. He absolutely refuses to stand up for his players, and the team. At some point one of the guys is gonna have enough of his bull.

Him subbing the starters in, except for Cade with 7 minutes to go, leaving Flynn in the game for a few extra plays is the height of stupidity, and coaching malpractice.

Cade and Ivey should be rotated exactly like how Luka and Kyrie are.

None of this would have happened had Monty not played 35 guys, and made correct rotations. The day that idiot is fired, cannot come soon enough.

kind of off-topic but Joe Ingles looked like he's 36 going on 50. He was funny looking out there but also interesting he's able to make an NBA rotation, for a solid team, with zero athleticism left.

Mdw as far as I know is as close to an unbiased expert on rules so, people can dislike the rules but this one is fairly clear. I can link to other sources if you want.

eh he made a nice shot, i won't get bent up about it. It's not like wins and losses really mean a ton at this point for this team. I just want to see them be competitive which they were.
