The only reason I don't mind Stewart starting over Fontecchio is that it actually gives someone with actual skills off the bench.

Monty COULD salvage this (while still starting Stew) by pulling Stew early for Simone and then bringing Stew back in for Duren instead of force-feeding Wiseman minutes. But of course, Monty's incapable of rational thought.

The fact that Cade only has 11FG attempts is just insane.

He should be sitting on 20.

I mean, it makes perfect sense to me. So, there is zero chance it will happen.

Immediately followed up by a terrible inbounds turnover.

Man this team.

Oh man, if Ausar could even get that 3 up to average standards, he's an All Star level player.

I don't know if this team is turning a corner, one can only hope, but at the very least they're a whole lot more watchable with the B&B Boys gone and new guys in.

Thats the hope. He is amazing defensively.

I would also like to note that moron limited the bench this game, and rode the starters, as he should every damn game.

Outcome? W.

Maybe it's just me but I'd fasho take Burks over Fournier and I'm not convinced yet Grimes is an upgrade. But if Grimes is on his to being Josh Hart 2.0, then that'd be great.

It took a historically bad shooting night from the Bulls (2/29 from deep) for us to pull this one out if the Bulls hit a few more of those we'd be talking about how TOs once again did us in with about 30 points off TOs for the Bulls tonight.

Very true, however, Pistons were on a back to back, got screwed out of a win last night and held the Bulls to that type of shooting. These last three games against Orlando, New York and Chicago should be encouraging. They are a few possessions away from 3-0. If they can keep this level of play up the rest of the way, they are going to pick off more squads.

Look at how Grimes D'd up on DeRozan and against the Knicks last night. He's an upgrade over one dimensional ball hogging Burks although I'd like to see more offense from Grimes
Those guys were nice scorers but so glad they're gone, Pistons play more TEAM ball without them and are more versatile defensively.

Stew, Sasser and Grimes should be getting guaranteed 25 minutes a game off the bench and that 9th (and 10th, if necessary) man should be situational to THAT game. This roster has some real nba talent and some fitting pieces. We HAVE to put them in the right spots man.

Grimes offense will come around. He is rusty as hell, and coming off a knee issue.

Give him some time.

Biggest two negatives of this game where the TOs and then also Grimes taking several bad off the dribble contested step back type three pointers. He seems like more of a catch and shoot guy not a create the space himself guy he needs to stay in his lane instead of trying to be the hero out there. Hopefully its just an off night he was great last night... but overall that's not the type of thing you like to see as a fan.

On the plus side, I'm not sure Cade has ever scored 26+ points on 13 or fewer shots before. Another great night from Cade he's been rolling post all-star break.

There's alot in between high volume scorer and ball hog bro, ffs. Burks' game is perfect for an off the bench scorer.

The future is Cade/Ivey/Ausar/Stew/Duren and that unit was big time +24 in 32 minutes for most of those guys...
