Maybe this means we’ll get Cooper Flagg next year

Just trade the damn pick plus a player and stop this losing. We’ll never get the 1st overall pick. I'm so done with the NBA

Meh, #5 was always the likely outcome.

Like last year the odds held true, however this year its not painful at all whereas last year it felt devastating.

This year there really isn't much of a difference between #1 and #5.

If anything it makes it less of a chance were we all look back and say I wish Detroit would have drafted ______ over _______. Which we as Pistons fan have become quite accustomed to on an annual basis.

ATL gets the 1st pick as a reward for trading young to LA to be with Lebron. I called it my son before the lottery started.

This is becoming a serious issue, they need to revert the changes to the draft lottery odds, flattening them was the dumbest thing on the first place. Tanking was not much worse than what it is now, such an aggressive move that penalises the worst teams harshly like us dropping to 5th 5 years in a row is not fair and makes it much harder to get better without getting a chance at a top player.

:(

I mean, it doesn’t hurt as much as it did the last couple of years. Still a bummer but I’ll live.

Houston and the Spurs jumping us also means Sheppard is almost certainly gone. He fits too well there. It's gonna be someone like Matas left, who is more like a #15 pick type of guy. A Sekou Doumbouya / Henry Ellenson range pick.

For those who believe in karma…… shouldn’t the Pistons have someone else there besides last year’s NUMBER FIVE PICK? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

OK, serious question... who here is STILL on the "Tank for Flagg" bandwagon?? I'm not saying to go out and trade for LaVine, but we have been PUNISHED for tanking 3 yrs in a row. We are at the literal definition of insanity.

So what is the plan to WIN games next season? ****.

Detroit got #1 in 2021.

Yeah for a guy that's always injured and our leading scorer+ball handler resulting in 14 wins last season
