WHY

Because staggering worked last game. By now, NOTHING Monty does make sense. And when he had a good rotation last game, I was wondering if it was "experimental" (you know, after saying he was done experimenting)

Monty is the worst free agent signing the Pistons ever made. Yes, he's worse than Josh Smith, worse than Charlie V., Gordon etc. At least those guys are only one player, he's responsible for the entire team and is sewering them at every turn.

I think we'd have had a reasonable season without this coach.

Boring game, but a win is a win, I'm not going to complain.

Let's see how long before our starters are put back in.

Cade is really reading double/triple teams great now. Making the right read almost every time.

Bench death lineup Sasser + Grimes + Fournier + Umude + Wiseman

Grimes has been awful. 1-7 horrible defense dumb reckless closeout on Miller.

Several times this game they jumped him on the perimeter and he takes dribble back when they are coming and makes a good clean pass to the open player after viewing his options.

That was a reasonably impressive dunk by Wiseman.

I still detest Wiseman, but I’ll admit he’s played better lately,

Even ignoring his character, are we sure we want Miles Bridges?

You see flashes of what he could be, but then you remember he has the processing speed of a hamster.
Hes not stupid, he just doesnt process the game fast enough.

Still think we need to upgrade Ivey. Could probably swap him with Murray and be a play in type team.

His teammates love him

Only Cade and Fontecchio have a better +/- than Wiseman.

If we swap Ivey I would rather go for a pure shooter then Ivey+. Murray is an upgrade no doubt, but the way he plays wont really open up the court. Ideally Rip 2.0 with a 3ball.

Wiseman has had a nice stretch of games, possibly his best 4-5 game or so stretch as a pro. Can't help but to root for the young man.
