Chris Webber?

Post#1 » by m23uza1hem36 » Fri Jan 25, 2008 1:11 pm

I remembering hearing on multiple radio shows that they believe Chris Webber would have been playing in the NBA at this time, I know the lakers did not take him because he is "out of shape" But I mean he can still help a team, I also think next time he say's hes going to be playing in a matter of weeks, 1.5 months ago to make sure he is because I wonder how many teams backed off him because they thought h was joining a team, I'm sure they backed off from the Lakers saying he's "out of shape".

Do you believe he will be playing this season? Or if he will be playing in just a few weeks and he's just having some short delays?

I'm just curious because when he came Detroit he gave this team energy not on the court but just off the court, which lead the pistons to their biggest win streak last year of 8 games, that stretch right before the All-Star Game.

I think he can help a strugging team, being a Detroit fan, a East fan, I hope he can help some team in the East, we're really pathetic, other then Detroit, Boston, maybe Orlando no one else is consistant or really a threat, Cleveland is rising but the East, even when the West struggles they still "own" the east, not just that but I think the East has the better of the All-Stars. Go Pistons!

or spelling LOL

Seriously though, I don't know how much C Webb could really offer a team at this point. He couldn't play D for squat last year and with him being out of circulation for a bit that should be even worse, if that is even possible.

I am more curious to see what happens with 'Birdman' at this point.

Unfortunately for Chris, the playoffs are televised. Everyone saw how he did down the stretch last season.

If a new thread was started about the Birdman certain lurkers might just have something NEW to read and  about.

BTW if CWebb is viewed as washed up and undesirable why does this forum continue to discuss him.
