Home Streak 200+ Sellouts?

Post#1 » by m23uza1hem36 » Sat Jan 26, 2008 11:50 pm

I know that we have over 200 straight sell outs at the palace but when watching the games or being at the games theres always many seats empty, how are we sold out? I know not everyone gets to the game (Sickness, Family Deaths, Etc.) but who buys all those tickets? What business?

I've heard that Rock Financial has some type of deal with the Pistons that they will buy up to a certain amount of tickets once the game has started to keep the sellout streak alive.

I'm pretty sure that the entire lower bowl (except maybe for some VIP seats) and a good % of the upper bowl are sold out to season ticket holders.

IMO that's is true. If there is empty seats like around ~50-100 seats...They will buy them...It's like the Arco Arena... We sold out for 355+ consecutive sellouts but sometimes I see several empty seats i.e. ~50-100 seats, so the Maloofs Bros buy the empty seats IMO...There could be other factors as well...i.e. family issues, weather, death, or etc...
