I'm not too sold on the Gonzalez pick, but to me you made out like a freakin' bandit.

Thanks. You've done well yourself, especially for having to make about half the picks.

Man I just want this round to finish already, we should of been done with this a long time ago. We really have no chance at doing a new one now at this point.

Agreed... I've been waiting for the my next pick (90) for an eternity... So frustrating...

We should do another, but anyone who took > than the alloted 8 hours should be shot and replaced... Okay, maybe just replaced...

90th pick was tough... I saw no good value at the Eagles positions of true need... The two players I really hoped for Hunt & McDonald were gone... Then I hoped Smith may slip one more spot... Anyhow, I went with who I thought was the 2nd best RB in the entire draft...

Not a perfect fit in terms of need, but this was a pure value pick... The eagles need another RB with only Westbrook and injury prone Buckhalter around... I would have preferred bigger back, but couldn't pass up the talent...

Eagles summary

26th Pick - Jon Beason (prior to Spike trade) - even with the spikes trade, Trotter and Spikes are both on the wrong side of 30, Dhani stinks, and Gaither is the only decent youth we have at the position

57th Pick - Tanard Jackson - CB & S were both needs in this draft and Jackson addresses both. While I see him a starting safety in the future, he could be a vaulable nickel back this year.

90th Pick - Kenny Irons - Pure value pick.

Critique away...

I think if I had to go the Skins draft over again I would pick Okoye instead of Branch #9. Branch's stock has really dropped since I picked him.

But otherwise I'd be pretty happy to see the Skins come away with Branch/Alama-Francis.

What happened to Ryan Moats? Not criticizing the Irons pick just wondering is he still on the team or what?

Putting on my Niners fan hat for a moment, I would personally be pretty disappointed with this draft.

1st - Ginn
2nd - Moses
3rd - MacDonald

It might just be personal bias but I don't think Ginn or Moses will make good pros, and I would much rather have spent that #11 pick on the defense. Something like:

1st - Patrick Willis
2nd - Anthony Spencer
3rd - Steve Smith

would have been much better for us IMO.

Still on the team, but definately feel out of favor with the coaching staff... Reno Mahe was utlized more than Moats last year... The eagles are tight lipped on most things but they appearantley weren't happy with work ethic, special teams play, and blocking...
