It felt like everything that had to go right for ASU to win that game did,

I give props to Washington, but they just lost too many elite guys to the draft. Very tough to overcome. We lost a ton of talent also to the league, so we are not the same team as last year that defeated Penn State. I still have hopes for the pac12 as a homer. And as this past week has shown, anything can happen. But its gonna be a uphill battle for our Western Conference

Actually, I thought so too myself heading into this season. But the main guys we lost were db's. Surprisingly however, our next men up in the defensive backfield have been just fine. Nobody's really beat us there, not even ASU tonight (they only scored one touchdown). Sydney Jones, for instance, a cornerback we lost, was replaced by Byron Murphy, who immediately showed himself to be potentially one of the greatest db's in team history. And yes, we lost Buddha Baker at safety, but our two safeties, Taylor Rapp and Jo Jo MacIntosh, are one of the premier safety tandems in college football. Elsewhere on defense, we lost nobody who wasn't replaceable on the front seven.

No, the losses didn't really effect UW on defense, as our defense has been as good as ever, even in tonight's loss (again, we only gave up one TD and that was on the opening drive).

What cost the Huskies tonight was their offense, of which we only lost one player, John Ross. They were the ones who sucked tonight, along with our FG kicking game. Our QB Jake Browning was too tentative to stand and deliver, our offensive line didn't open up holes tonight for our running game, and our FG kickers suck donkey balls.

It sucks. I now have to put the idea of the CFP playoff out of my mind. It's now about winning the Pac 12 north, winning the Pac 12 title, and getting to the Rose Bowl. For us to make the CFP, we'd have to win out, and then have the top teams in the other major conferences (other than Alabama) kind of shoot each other up in a Mexican standoff. In other words, too many "what ifs" to even think about now. We just have to think about winning the next game (how cliche of me).

We've got an extremely tough game next week vs. ND. We have become predictable on offense.

f*ckin oklahoma state. they're inside the 10 about go up 2 td's and then they f*ckin fumble the god damn ball and our corner back can't push the texas receiver out of bounds so he gets 90 yards on what should've been a 7 yard play and now it's a tie game

Pretty much all chalk in the ranked games today. USC just getting drubbed by ND though.

Who in the hell is going to win the Pac 12 south? USC still the favorite, but...
