Big win yesterday against Chicago. We sadly dropped our previous two games, which set us back, but I'm staying positive.

This was a good loss, a badly needed loss. Falcons still need some luck but there is still a chance the Falcons can still get a top 10 pick in 2023.

Falcons QB Marcus Mariota leaves team due to demotion

According to The Athletic, Smith informed Mariota on Thursday morning that he was being replaced by Ridder. The following day, Mariota said he planned to leave the team.

Smith said the move is Mariota's prerogative but it was easy to see the head coach was disappointed after lobbying for the Falcons to sign Mariota in the offseason.

Yeah, I suspected that whole 'Knee Injury flaring up right at the time he got benched scenario' was just a cover.

Disappointed in his response considering how poorly he played and the extended opportunity he got to (unsuccessfully) turn things around.

I do wish him the best, though.

Great lose by Desmond today, it helps the Falcons in getting at top 8 pick. Stroud could fall out of the top five, just like what happen to Justin Fields a few years ago. Hopefully either Ringo or Stroud could be available to the Falcons

Falcons host Arizona and our Falcons are favored to win by 3 points. I hope Desmond Ridder finds the end zone..... Multiple times would be great.
