Falcons have now had multiple interviews with Vita Vea now. Rumor has it, that Falcons may or are actively working on finding a way to trade up to get Vita Vea.

Suh is gone. If the Falcons can't sign Johnathan Hankins, then it looks like the Falcons will be forced to take a DT in the 1st, regardless if they have to reach or not.

I believe the rumors that we're linked to him and I support adding him.
If it means we must trade up I obviously hope we don't give up much. We need talent and I hope this drafts addresses our needs.

Anthony Miller falling to the Falcons would be a gift!

I'm all for drafting a WR in the draft at some point just not in the first round.

Latest Kiper mock draft has the Falcons taking WR Sutton or Ridley in the first round, as he say "who ever falls to the Falcons, they will take and be very happy".

One of those WR's could be difficult to pass up both I expect both to not be available.

Someone nailed it with the title of this thread.

Nicely done.

26. Atlanta Falcons: WR Calvin Ridley, Alabama

Ridley’s as game-ready as any receiver in this class: He’s got good hands, runs crisp routes, and can play outside or in the slot, but a worrisome lack of explosive athleticism (he tested very poorly in the vertical and broad jumps at the combine) is a legitimate concern. Still, physicality has never been a part of his game—he’s more of a technician who’s drawn comparisons to Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne—and he’s most effective early in his route, creating separation to give his quarterback a target underneath. He should be an excellent addition to the Falcons passing attack and figures to play early in his career.

Wow i'm shocked Falcons didn't go DT in the 2nd round!!!

Oliver is a quality player, a first round talent in the second round

If i'm the Falcons, I would offer the 4th and 2019's 4th to move up to get Maurice Hurst, even with his health problems.

i'm ok with Ridley , but i would have picked Sutton. I just like WR who have alot of upper body strength like Roddy White, Andre Rison, and Julio. Ridley is still good, he is a top ten talent that fell to the late first.

Isaiah Oliver’s biggest asset is his ridiculous length. He has the longest arms (33 1⁄2 - inches) of any cornerback in this class, and in the last 20 years only 6 corner prospects have measured longer. Oliver takes full advantage of this as he takes away the catch radius of receivers making it difficult for them to win in jump-ball situations. https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2018/4/29/17299182/what-scouting-reports-say-about-new-falcons-corner-isaiah-oliver-colorad-dan-quinn-nfl-draft

We considered trading up to draft Calvin Ridley.

Oliver reminds me of Josh Norman, long, good size corner with high IQ, he will make plays but won't get you alot of interceptions. He is not a ball hawk corner, but more of a fly paper corner.

I wish them nothing but success on the field and off the field.

I recently found out that Julio Jones has a KIA dealership in Alabama. I had no idea!

Glad to hear he's diversifying his portfolio
