Georgia draws closer to nation's No. 1 recruiting class
Georgia has landed its second five-star prospect in three days and it has the Bulldogs knocking on the door of the nation's No. 1 class per the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) cornerback Kelee Ringo made it known at the All-American Bowl on Saturday that he inked with UGA during the Early Signing Period. It makes 19 signees in the 2020 class for Kirby Smart and company and 21 commitments. With that five-star addition, the Bulldogs are now less than three points from the No. 1 class at 309.05.
The Tigers currently hold the top class at 311.90 and Alabama is No. 2 at 310.29. The Bulldogs could move into the No. 1 spot with one commitment as long as the prospect is highly-rated enough.
