It's only about 1 month away from the All-Star game, since the Warriors have a winning record this year, and the recent successful road trips, mayeb we can think about this.

Baron is All-Star calibur, but the position race is clogged with 'bigger names'. SJax is crucuial to our team but doesn't have the all star wow other players do

Predictions:

Starters: Kobe, McGrady, Anthony, Duncan, Yao (Nash should start over McGrady, but won't).

Reserves: Nash, Paul, Baron, Dirk, Boozer, Amare and either Manu or Roy.

With Houston getting two starters and 9 other teams solidly over .500 it's generally going to be one per team among the playoff contenders. Based on performance and reputation that's Baron from the Warriors.

Baron Davis for sure, but no Warriors will make it unless we have a ridiculous record at the break. Doesn't matter though, Baron resting that weekend is better for our team anyways.

He's definitely OUR All Star, that's easy enough to sort out.

I don't see the case for him before others no matter how we skew the game's worth and status in an image-conscious league or how self-servingly we ignore the work of others on better teams.

But if we vote him on, it's all moot. So get out the vote, folks. We passed up Chris Paul already!

Then again, our hot play has cooled to OK and still good wins-wise with Jackson's sort of milchetoast play of late. He's had some good games and som terrible games. Baron has, too, I suppose, but Jackson's deterioration/reversion to the unfocused and whiny attitude sans substance is cause for concern that also suggests he's the most important piece to have in his proper frame of mind at all times.

Maybe not.

But a Baron-Jackson core gets you everything you pay for, regardless.

I think this year is a tough year for the western guards, so in order to make the ASG, the W's has to have a decent run from now on...

No stupid lost....

Baron is number 9 on the race for mvp on nba.com, and is almost a consensus top 10 mvp candidate. The chance of him missing the ASG should be pretty low.

Our schedule before ASG is rather easy to manage.
If we make a good run on those games, we should be fine to have BD in ASG
