I can't believe there were arguments that poole wasn't tanking the team last year.

Ya, or that the CP3 trade was bad. Even if you don't like CP3, turning the Poole Dumpsterfire into an expiring that can be traded this year or next year is one of the few reasons we still have a sliver of hope.

And I say all this as someone who used to support JP a lot here long ago. I watched some 2021-2022 tape recently, and while he was never a good defender, he tried more. He also didn't do nearly as much bonehead stuff. It's just mind blowing what he is now -- and I get he had a lot of flaws before, it's just all exaggerated to an absurd degree now, like a parody of himself.

Maybe we should trade CP3 for a humbled Jordan Poole next summer.

They should just eat hte contract and bench him. Tell him to go home. They will still have a top pick but they can build the right culture. He was never going to be in the long term plans anyway. And it might be the best way to move him as well. Someone might talk themselves into believing that Poole can return to 2021-22 form if he isn't out there every night proving them wrong.

He was always bad. He was always me-1st ego and selfish and low iq. But the casuals saw a shiny object. He was "fun" "young" "exciting" "up and comer". That's all the casuals saw. They didn't see the low iq plays etc. The classic underrated becomes overrated. I am SOOOO glad this loser is off the Warriors lmao. Corey Mageete’s foul drawing skills would fit well with Kuminga’s game. Mageete and Kuminga both toook on their own man and a help defender on drives in the paint. Kerr compared Kuminga to Shawn Marion. What all 3 guys had in common is the ability to beat 2 men on a short drive in the pant by attacking faster than the help defender could get into the play. Maggette’s attack was not as fast but Maggete always was working to get the foul call using Harden like jumping into the defender tricks.

I think it was the rule change for carries that did him in. Draymond was just the cherry on top.

Still can't justify Draymond punching him obviously however annoying he may have been, but at this point in time certainly looks like he as a basketball player needed Draymond more than Draymond needed him.
