Just flipped the game on to procrastinate replacing the garbage disposal… might switch over to youtube: “how to build a shed a to z”

Sucks that BP and Gui are out. Would rather just play all young guys today.

Our scrubs are hella keeping pace though. White flag was waved with the score being around 50 I think and it still is!

CDM_Stats, your bad juju is working overtime. Every time you do the game thread, you become William H. Macy's character from The Cooler, with a bet on the Dubs being money down a rat hole.

@Old_Blue: it's a bit unsettling how much attention you put into other people's posts. Not just thie above xample about game threads, but you often bring up other poster's opinions on everything from draft picks to player evaluation. Do you keep a private database or search a lot?
Bob Myers, June 7, 2018: "“It’s not in my job description to please NBA fans. It’s to win, end of story. I don’t need to be entertained, I just need to win. That’s all it is. That’s all I was hired to do. Win.”

The advanced search query allows you to search by keyword or author.

search.php

So, for instance, if you want to know how many times you have mentioned LeBron's son, Bronny, you just drop in the keyword "Bronny" and author "hamncheese" and you get one hit. It literally takes seconds.

search.php?keywords=Bronny&terms=all&author=hamncheese&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

Seemed like an obvious game to sit Steph. Steph has not looked like himself before this game, and now I wonder whether we need to sit him vs. the Bucks. Knee bursitis needs rest, and we need Steph for the stretch run.

Wiggins wouldn't have mattered. It pains me to say it, but Boston is the one team I have zero confidence in the Dubs beating in a 7 game series.

Did Kerr actually admit the game plan was not to guard Brown?

My god, two more years (at least) of this.

How do you make Kerr the highest paid coach in the league with the decisions he's made this year?

Mind boggling.

Read on Twitter

Doesnt sound like a guy who's idea it was, but was OK with doing it.

BTW when I critique our coaching staff and our analytics dept, its this kinda **** right here. You know how they figured out to do this? They went to the NBA.com stats page, went to shots dashboard, saw that JB was hitting 29% on WIDE OPEN (6+ ft nearest defender) from 3, and eschewed any type of real logic and said "lets hinge our gameplan on that". Nevermind that he's averaging only 1 per game, nevermind that nearly 30% of them were with the shot clock winding down, or that almost 15% were from well beyond the arc (heat checks/desperate shots). They used a limited understanding of limited data and made a big gameplan change 15 minutes before tipoff

That is general board level analysis. And that's how either the Warriors analytics department works, or how educated the coaching staff is on them. Top 5 coach indeed..

It's a legacy contract at this point for the 4 Championships. Any other coach who would have behaved like Kerr last season and this season would have been fired.

And Steph likes him.
