That's why I asked. They traded a couple decent contracts and not terrible players plus a top2 protected 1st in 2027. That was the price. Can the dubs beat it, maybe. Would you have matched it?

E.g. moody, gp2 and loon + a top 2 protected 1st in '27 or '28 for PJ and filler (if necesssary).

Yep, so we saw what the price was. Do you match it?

They'll probably announce some incredibly small fringe move that save them a few bucks after the deadline.

Cuz he's supposed to replace Klay when he retires. Which should be any day now.

Hawks keeping Dejounte.. when he does find a new home, think teams will regret not buying him at a low point

Because you value the pick, don't value PJ or ?

Everyone wants a move. Short of moving wigs for a big of chips (which they no longer seem to want) or Klay (which they never seemed to want), what's the actual move?

I thought Olynyk would help, but he cost a late 1st. I wouldn't have done that. I think PJ would have been very helpful but I don't think I give up an unprotected first for PJ and lock this roster into this.

Bojan, with Klay still on the roster seems redundant. Same for Buddy. I like them both and if they came for free, I'd take it. Moving players that we know can play in this system for players that may not be an upgrade or may not play much doesn't seem like the swing we need.

Forward is the one spot we dont need. At least not at this second

Meanwhile the Bucks just cleared a roster spot in Robin Lopez for nothing

He'll probably be moved this summer and I doubt he increases his value much. I would have traded for him but we don't know what Atl wanted. Two firsts and CP3 gets it done, I'm pretty sure, but isn't that too much? Do the hawks accept 1 first and cp3?

I'm disappointed we didn't move anyone. Saric could've fetched a second at least.

Welp I'm shocked. Shocked I tell you. Another trade deadline another lump of coal. #FreeMoody will have to wait another year. :banghead:
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

Trade desk is backed up at this time, usually takes an hour or so post deadline to lock in the minor deals

Our 4s are Wiggins, Saric and Gui.
3s are Wiggins, JK, Moody, Klay
2s are Klay, JK, Podz, Curry, Moody
1s are Curry, CP, Podz, Cojo
5s are Dray, Looney, Saric, TJD

I'd say 4s is the spot we need help at the most.

vvoland wrote:How many would trade an unprotected 2027 for PJ (Washington, not Tucker)? I think I'd pass but it'd be a conversation. If I had to include Moody, GP2 and Loon, for asset/salary matching that would seem like a lot. Anyone better than PJ currently available considering our needs?

I don’t know how Tucker is playing lately. Isn’t he old now?
If I turn Kuminga into an off guard and reduce Klay’s minutes and play Dray at center the we need a power forward. Tucker outside shooting from power forward fits well with Kuminga not outside shooting from off guard.

Dray is not solely a 5
JK is not a 2

Our #2-4 players are forwards.. we have the young, the present, and the old. We couldnt be more set at the spot
