a poor perimeter shooter that lives on the inside?

lol man so because Nnaji isn't as explosive as AG, hes a good matchup for TJD, but AG isn't

What

AG's strength/quickness/ballhandling/passing profile would give TJD fits. Nnaji doesn't have anywhere near that skill set. That's the difference.

That's why you give ag a 5ft cushion and leave him open at the 3 pt line.

If he wants to post up tjd in the paint, be my guess.

Right? If they want to iso AG vs TJD when Jokic and Murray are in the game, why would you look that gift horse in the mouth??

I don't think giving AG a running start to attack the paint is a good idea. But hey, I'd rather see TJD guard AG than Saric, but that's not saying much.

When JK operates on the block there needs to be cutters and actions off ball. If everyone stands around and watches him dribble it's not going to work. They have to take advantage of his passing which is the part of his game that has improved the most dramatically this season.

Even though I was never in the camp of Kuminga being "untouchable", trading him for Caruso would have been a potato deal. But if there is a deal for a Lauri Markennan or Mikal Bridges, etc, in the summer, Dunleavy needs to go hard for something like that.

We have zero shot against good teams. They just have to double Curry and we will pass around into turnovers

if Kuminga is dealt, has to be someone who can get to the rim or to the line, preferably off the dribble

otherwise just creating a new hole while plugging another

If the Warriors want to make any real noise, they're gonna need Kuminga to be someone you can force feed, especially on Steph off-nights. I still wouldn't trade him unless it's for a REAL star.

Or he can just pass it out instead of forcing it.

He's been struggling in the halfcourt for a while now. Teams are just walling up against him in the paint until he can show he isn't afraid to take a jump shot. That's what unlocks him.

Steph just needs something better. This team ain't it if they're serious about contending next season.
