While he was out, they were 3-1. If he had played, they would’ve gone 7-0 in those 4 games.

Looked like he didn’t play in the 4th quarter, particularly down the stretch when DeRozan kept scoring.

His jumper looked poor and earlier in the game, DDR was still scoring on him.

Presumably Kerr didn’t play Wiggins or GP2 because the team needed more reliable scoring as they fell behind double digits.

Looks like a minute restriction. 15 minutes in both games since his return.

The starters were outplaying the bulls: +9 and a +38 net rtg.

Wiggins also had the highest net rtg and off rtg on the team.

We were bleeding points in the 4th. So it was celebrini making a call or Kerr throwing the game.

Guy was 3-6, +7 and the best defensive option on DeRozan, handily beating Moody and JK in that regard

Either he's being held on a restriction or now Moody's just cannibalizing Wiggins' minutes and Wiggins' only, instead of playing them together, at all. Will be very interesting to see which it is

Looks like he was on a minutes restriction. We could use him for 5 extra minutes in the 4th vs the bulls.

Very efficient game at San Antonio, played 30 minutes.

But did he play in the 4th quarter at all?

Maybe he's not trusted to take shots, including FTs.

Lakers needed baskets so Lebron just forcing his way to the basket, mostly elbowing Wiggins repeatedly to prevent Wiggins from standing his ground.

Same thing when JK was guarding him. Doesn't matter how strong a defender the Warriors put on him, he will just do that rather than beat them off the dribble.

Just happy that he didn't break more ribs or that they paraded the Lakers to the FT line to make up for Warriors hot shooting, 41% from 3 (mostly Klay and Steph).

But if Warriors indeed have to play the Lakers in the play-in, I suspect it will be something like 35 to 12 FTAs for the Lakers and Warriors will have to really outshoot them just to be in the game.

Bron will elbow his way again and the fouls will be called on those trying to defend him while taking bows to the gut and ribs.

Wiggins was on dlo 90% of the game. Bron didn't easily dislodge wiggs nor dray.

He went into scoring mode in the 3rd and 4th quarter when the Warriors were starting to get a little separation.

That's when he kept going to the hole. On either Kuminga or Wiggins.

It was mostly jk. Bron got b2b and 1s vs him in the 4th. Then gave up another and1 vs reeves (bad call though). Then mixed in with hunting cp3, podz, tjd, or steph on a switch.

Kerr took out jk then put dray on him.

Bron didn't do much vs wiggins and dray this game.

they should've put gpIi on james. he could not bully him going into the hole, he's shorter sure, but he's got a strong core and could disrupt his going into the hole better than wiggins or kuminga, and james could not elbow him in the ribs even if he aims at it because of the height disparity. his lower baricenter would also force james into taking more jumpers or post ups than drives, something you always live with, even when he's hitting those jumpers, because you know that sooner or later the jumper would fade away, the drives would not.

Saw a headline for The Athletic, couldn't read the article but apparently RJ Barrett's brother died recently after being ill for weeks.

Barrett has been trying to deal with it, not sure if he's missed games.

But he got support from players and fans.

What a contrast.

Are we now telling people how to properly deal with a family health crisis? Nice.

Missing his third straight game today for personal reasons.

I know you don't like the guy, but that's a cold comment.

Ok needs to be said because holy **** some people are just affected in the head

The guy was missing half a season. There was no death in the family, and the secret has been highly guarded, in a world where no one's private data remains actually private unless there's a ironclad restriction on it. And it happened as he returned from a serious injury. Draw your own conclusions - and to be clear, I have no knowledge of what actually happened either. Just connecting obvious dots

But never thought I'd see a grieving dick-measuring contest, that's bottom of the barrel stuff

Well US doesn't have to worry about Team Canada in the Olympics. Their players are soft and their best player isn't nearly as good without Jokic. :D
