Jk was positive for the game and played important 1on1 D against Vic and contested him well.

Klay was a net negative per usual

These two are not the same. Lumping them together is dumb and lazy.

The Klay comparison is idiotic. The REAL comparison is Jordan Poole. So say the RGM 'experts'.

Loved the effort from all the young guys tonight....it's only the Spurs but the Dubs needed the W.

They were both volume guys. 43 points and 39 shots.

Tjd was just awesome this game, not much more to be said. Podz and most were really good too.

Might be play of the year for the dubs so far.

You just lumped them together again. JK was 50.0% TS%, Klay was 42.8% TS%. Neither spectacular, but not the same. Being a "volume" guy isn't the worst thing when you're relatively efficient and your team desperately needs scoring.

With tj and podz playing the way they did tonight, it wouldn't be a surprise to see another line up shake up for the mavs game.

In this game:
JK ts% is 58%
Klay ts% is 48%

We're comparing a young JK to a washed Klay's shooting percentage. They still play the same role. Volume scorer, POA defender. Poor rotational defender. Poor rebounder.
I will say Klay was a better poa defender in year 3 though.

Can you imagine Klay on Kyrie ... yikes, but he should be fine guarding everyone else. I do feel like Kerr should switch up the starting line up again. Maybe at some point he'll find the right combinations. Keep throwing **** at the wall and something will eventually stick.

I think at some point last game it was Podz, Moody, GP2, Wiggins, TJD? The defense was soo good! More of that please

The starters weren't good again. But I think most of that can be attributed to dray being so bad on both sides of the ball. His head wasnt in it at all and kept trying to force passes to klay.

Tjd is a good match up for gafford. I think he might start.

Luka/Irving vs klay/jk should be an interesting match up. Jk should hunt Irving on switches.

Mavs just crushed the same bulls team we lost to.

It really just depends on if Kerr will play defensive players. Can Wiggins play 30+?

Klay was on Wemby a lot, especially when they went zone and Klay was on the low block.

Klay’s 4 something rebounds per 36 minutes is kind of average for an NBA guard.
All Warriors guards that actually play rebound better than Klay but all the other Warriors guards rebound better than an average NBA guard.

Klay defending power forwards probably would not work for rebounding but at least power forwards would not be driving past Klay.
Kuminga is a below average rebounder for a power forward.

90% of his rebounds are uncontested and his often in good position to rebound because he isnt a poa defender.. 4 rebounds per game doesn't tell the whole story.

About 80%. CP3 and Curry get a higher percentage of their rebounds uncontested, the rest of the team gets fewer uncontested.

Yeah I thought I saw that.

Klay playing C on D, that's a new one for Steve.

I think the idea was that Klay was just supposed to try to hold ground between Wemby and the basket, and then a double would come to help.

They used Harrison Barnes on Zach Randolph that way many years ago.

The idea was that he could at least push back. And that everyone else were smarter help defenders.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Harrison Barnes was the power forward on the death unit and Barnes banged with the big boys and was not afraid to make contact and use his muscles. Kuminga would be the guy I would expect to be the power forward when Draymond is the center. Kuminga is plenty physical on his drives but not so physical off the ball and Kuminga does not have Podz’s nose for loose balls.
