That's Kerr choking....and Curry and Draymond were trying to choke the game away as well.

To take a winning combination of players and roll out a midget lineup in the last 2 minutes??? It's the same choke mentality as the deny defense in football.

But honestly, wtf is wrong with the vets in close games now. TOTAL panic by Curry....picks up the ball and tosses it into traffic. TO. Draymond, same thing! Klay TAKES THE THREE when he absolutely should have just force them to FOUL him...RUN THE CLOCK OUT.

That was the Spurs...one of the worse records in the leauge....up 10...and Kerr...**** lineup...Curry...panic and bad shots...Draymond...turn over....Klay bonehead three (made thank god).

This is the dumbest group of vets I've seen in a long time.

They're old and no longer as good as they used to be. Add an absolutely horrendous lineup to close it up making it even harder.

Everyone on this team makes dumb plays, poor passes, forcing the issue when it's not necessary (with big leads). Why? JMO, but I think it's because Kerr thinks any pass is a good pass, and that's all he cares about. And he NEVER gets on anyone for turnovers. Every game, you see terrible decisions when it comes to making bad passes, by every player on this team. Kerr never corrects these problems and that's why they happen over and over again.

Kerr had a lineup that was absolutely killing it -- Curry, Moody, GP2, Green, & TJD, and then the camera shows Klay at the sideline table ready to check in and everyone in my house shouted, "NOOOOOO!!"

Of course, Kerr had to do it. He just had to do it. Good thing it was the Spurs.

Wigs missed shots but they were good shots with an exception of two attempts blocked by Wemby. Klay took good shots.
The starting 5 started well but Dray's 2 turnovers on passes around Wemby kept them from positive - just 14-14 score. Then Podz entered for Klay and Warriorswent to minus 10 but it was not his fault at all.
The starting five started second half on most impressive 17-6 run to take a control of lead. In the 4th Q TJD and Dray shared the floor again to go from 94-89 to 113-102. Then Steph missed 3 shots and committed 1 turnover but fortunately Klay hit the dagger.

Without JK the Warriors have only 2 athletic big men in Dray and TJD so we cannot expect the team to play at playoff level and close win over Wemby's team is a success.

f**k kerr and f**k klay.
they both have become unbearable. they've been sinking this team (dray too, but for different reasons not strictly related to basketball) for the last 2 years. and keep doing it on a daily basis.

Good win. Spurs had won 3 in a row.

On to the next.
In 1971, the team moved across the Bay Area to Oakland, and changed its geographic name to Golden State to symbolize the team as representative of the entire state of California

5 players had a positive net rtg. Only 2/5 closed.

5 players had a negative net rtg. 3/5 closed.

Kerr has learned absolutely nothing from this road trip, he just goes back to the same mess.

Just watched the game on delay. Most of it. That was hard work.

It’s completely unfathomable that Kerr started Klay and let him play that level of defence and show no regard for good shot selection. I couldn’t take it as, although Curry and Green were good, watching Klay continue to take a massive post spicy curry dump on his own legacy was infuriating. My man love for Klay knew no bounds in 2012-19. Now, I even find his Klay walk annoying.

Having Wiggins struggle offensively showed how important having someone like JK is. JK can collapse a defence and get to the line which is super important in the playoffs/play in.

Wiggs needs to stay focused offensively and JK needs to show improvement defensively for us to have half a chance to advance past the play in.

This is the worst take in a thread full of them. Had Klay "run the clock out" the spurs get the ball back with 25 seconds and a 2pt game. The klay hate is making people forget the rules of the game. IF klay doesn't take and make that 3, there's a very good chance we lose or go to OT. There are plenty of things to get on Klay and Kerr about, in this game and this season. That possession is absolutely not one of those things.

The only real question on that possession is why is Steph taking a fade away 16ft runner with 12 seconds on the shot clock?

But somehow I find myself shaking my head because both Draymond & Steph had very good games, minus their usual bone-headed turnovers. In fact, this was probably Draymond's best game of the year. And yet, the Warriors barely managed to win a game against one of the worst teams in the league. Wow. What does that tell you about this team?

What's funny, too, is you can just look at the lineups and know what's going to happen BEFORE it happens. How many times did you look up and see Kerr put out a 4 guard lineup and say to yourself that lineup was going to get killed and of course it did.

It's just sad though seeing that this team has talent and could easily have many more victories. And who knows, with a trade or two at the deadline, they might have been a real threat in the playoffs.

Let's get to the off-season and hope this FO wakes up and makes actual moves to improve the team and not just try and get under the tax penalty.

Chris Paul’s salary, a truck load of $100 dollar bills, 3 future first round picks, Payton and Moody for a 2 2 way fast all-star guard who can defend off guards and pointguards who unfortunately does not exist and would not be traded if he did exist.

Then for are 2nd move our scots must find an sign a mobile 8 foot center at a refugee soup kitchen in the Jungles of war torn eastern Congo. Kuminga can be his translator.

For are 3rd move find a magical doctor that can give Klay back his 2016 mobility.

its crazy,,, if the result of the 4 guard play is to get Curry a clean look then it's ok but absolutely not give Podz or Draymond a shot at this time of the game.

There's nothing "ok" about a 4 guard lineup. It's a defensive nightmare where it gives opposition mismatches on every level, puts the team in an awful rebounding situation where you also have guards constantly getting physically bullied near the rim. That's presuming the offense is elite with four guards and giving Steph what he needs, neither of which is happening.

The 4 guard lineup is the dumbest lineup I have ever seen in professional sports. Limiting it to just basketball would be doing it a disservice.

Wanna hear something crazy? Curry, Klay, BP and GP2, with Dray, in 19 total possessions, score 121pts/100poss and give up 110/100poss for a +11 net rating. I would not have guessed that.

The only other 4 guard lineup to play more than 10 possession had Moody in for BP in the lineup above. In 18 possessions, they have a per 100 of 105 scored, 162 given up.

Pretty much all of our other 4 guard lineups have <10 possessions. I would have thought it was a lot more. Crazy thing is, many of those lineups have a net rating of +100. Meaning they're outscoring teams in those 5-10 possession by a point per possession.

e.g.:
cp3, bp, gp2, moody, TJD: +128 net rating on 7 possessions.
sc30, cp3, gp2, klay, tjd: +126 net rating in 6 possessions.
