That's a stretch. Did he shuffle his feet, probably. Did he have the ball cleanly on the catch, not so sure. Was he bumped? Probably. These refs allowed Steph to get assaulted tonight so I'll take one 50/50 call that went our way, especially after that atrocious call on dray

Haters looking for any way to scapegoat Klay, even on what would have been a bad call.

They'd even take two consecutive bad calls against the Warriors by the refs, as long as Klay comes out looking worse.

lol at the term "haters" for Klay. He's been AWFUL most of the year. He was bad tonight. He took some incredibly off balance hero threes in the fourth. He took a dumb ass three lasts game with the lead under 25 seconds and he got blocked on another possession under 25 again. He sucks....deal...and he get's the softest fan base there is.

Klay shot poorly.

Curry shot even worse.

He tried a step back on two tall forwards in the second half. That not chucking?

Or you're just eager to take another shot at Klay, like he's the only one taking bad shots.

The board that treats Klay like he slapped it's mother (do message boards have mothers? Coffee shops bulletin boards, maybe..). That said, cpower jumped the shark. I'm pretty sure he roots against klay and not for the dubs.

You keep saying this and it's just embarrassingly wrong. That shot was with 40 seconds left (and 14 on the shot clock). It was the only FG we made in the last 2:30 and it clinched the game. There's plenty to complain about with Klay, pick a different play, it just makes it seem like you don't know the rules or the game

Does the team hold jk out longer?

We are a better team with Wiggins getting more touches and moody getting more minutes. We actually have an identity based on defense.

Thought the broadcasters made a good point, the teams played pretty well lately.

are you really comparing Curry shot selection to Klay's? There is nothing wrong with Currys shot selection he is just not as good as making them....Klay on the other hands, he should not even attempt half of the shots he puts up...he cares about his FGA more than anything

In completely unrelated news, dray came back in mid Jan and has stayed out of trouble since.

Right.

First win against a good Western Conference team in awhile. Nice to see.

I'm starting to wonder about this as well. He's been a net positive since late Dec but I wonder if they're being super, duper, extra careful considering how well they've played in his absence.

More realistically, the medical staff just wanted to give him a week off.

They already said he’s playing Thursday. Will be interesting what the rotations are

Also, I am not really interested in “having a cushion” versus Houston. I want to whip them and nail the coffin shut.

Also John gobble and jacyn goble hate us. They’re some of the worst refs against us.

That record probably includes the losses where he got tossed and those games they blew against OKC (2x) and sac with dray.. it should probably be closer to 35-14 or something

It makes sense, we need the athleticism against hou more than we did tonight.

well Klay gets plenty of blame here, he is 2nd in mins but at the bottom in terms of any advance stat. Wiggins was bad but he turned it around but Klay remain terrible most of the season. Just look at the raw plus minus, you cant hide him on this roster, starting or from the bench. He is not even as good as JJ reddick at 34 that says a lot.

How much of that athleticism do we need if it also means getting 2 or 3 of of wiggins, moody, gp2, and tjd off the floor. Kerrs default has been 3 guards + jk+ dray.

Wiggins, moody, and gp2 are only getting more minutes because jk is out.

Klay leads the team in undeserved minutes and is the main character in Kerr's failure to adapt to his surroundings, like Poole and Oubre before him, bad BBIQ and lack of defensive hustle can have disastrous effects on the team defense. Its on paper, its on the court.. been in consistent decline since he came back from injury and his minutes and role have been unimpeachable to Kerr except for a several week stint where Podz supplanted him, one where both the starters and bench looked better. So of course we scrapped it

No idea why people take it personal but Klay is bar none, the biggest problem on the team, and its Kerr's usage thats driving it. And both are getting crushed in the court of public opinion for it, and deservedly so. Its indefensible
