Ugh, GP2 and JK out would hurt. They desperately need this game (along with a Kings loss), but so do the Pels. For the Dubs, the 8 seed has many advantages over 9/10. For the Pels, it could drop them into the play-in, as well as be bracketed vs. DEN instead of OKC/MIN, and they definitely don't want that. Would expect both teams to fight like hell even though they both played last night.

Pelicans will be a serious test. Both teams on back to backs but the Warriors have a rested Dray and Klay.

Hopefully these delicious snacks will distract and slow Zion down

I'm looking forward to how Draymond and TJD handled (or not) Zion. Sac couldn't do anything to slow Zion.

Resting Dray and Klay worked out.

Go Warriors!

Dray saw the schedule and a meeting with Zion, and told Steve he needed to visit the medi-spa instead of playing against Portland.

The weaker team has a chance in a one game series. I don’t know whether the Warriors or Pelicans are the Weaker team. The Weaker team between the Warriors and Pelicans will not make it to the Western conference finals. If you can not reach the Western conference finals you were an irrelevant also ran.

Pelican fans could get enthused about building towards something. We Believe Warriors was fun but it turns out that they were not building towards anything and the current Warriors do not look like they are building towards anything.

Now win this game and get to the Western conference finals just to add to the Legacy of Steph, Dray and Klay.

Ironically, Garuba is a decent match for Zion. But they’ve given him so little time, it will never happen.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Stopping cj is the key, guy is averaging over 30 ppg the last few games. Zion is always going to get his.

I caught the last 2 GL games too, and they started running the offense through him.. way too much talent to be wasted in GL honestly. He was outperforming TJD when TJD got the call.. but I dont think he can handle a motion offense. He's very stationary, half-courty type player. Even shot 40% from 3 (mostly wide open in the games I saw)

Dont expect him to be back with the team.. still expect him on a NBA roster next year. Good defender, rebounder, passer and capable enough shooter as an undersized C. Still would like to see him get trimmer though. He seemed to get gassed a lot

6th seed Pelicans are playing for a very very outside shot at the 5th seed and playing to prevent the Suns from taking 6th seed which would make Pelicans be the 7th seed and play a play in game.

Mediocre motivation. Pelicans could lose tonight and still keep the 6th seed.

Suns probably beat Kings tonight but Probably lose to Twolves in their last game.
Pelicans are a game ahead of Suns. If Pelicans lose but win their last game vs Lakers Pelicans probably keep the 6th seed.
Suns have the Tiebreaker of Pelicans but the Twolves are probably better than the Suns and the Twolves will probably be playing for a better seed in their last game vs Suns.

You don't think they want to make sure they don't go to a play-in game? It sounds like very strong motivation to me.

I cant believe Dray threw an off the board opp to TJD. It feels like those preseason games in Hawaii back in the nick van exel days.

Pelicans fans think Jordan Hawkins was the steal of they 2023 draft but he was drafted at 14 where as Trayce was drafted 57th and is playing 16.5 minutes per game. Trayce may be the steal of the draft.
