I really like Hendrix. He's not a SF though like the said in ESPN. He's an undersized PF but with enough strength to score inside and he can also hit the outside shot

Looks like we got our Paul Milsap in this years draft. Hendrix got some guns on him!

Re: With the 49th pick, GS selects Richard Hendrix
It's a good tough nosed Milsap type. Hopefully he comes in serious and ready to contribute. He's more stout than Lasme was, but less athleticism. Love the bulk though.
We've been asking for a guy like this for along time. so can't call it a bad pick. It looks pretty good.
what do you want from 49?
I like Josh duncan too and wouldn't mind him as a Summer league invite.
Now we need to focus on a back-up point guard.

Hendrix will probably play more than Randolph since he was a senior and has one skill that GS totally lacks as a rebounder. Plus he can shoot a mid range jumper.

Re: With the 49th pick, GS selects Richard Hendrix
The W's need somebody like this, if he can make the roster. Don't know if he can run the floor with the rest of the team -- but he can rebound, which nobody else on the W's does particularly well. Looks like he won't let a Boozer or other PF push him out of position. The W's need to get stronger, and their first pick certainly won't help them in that dept.

I loved this pick. Hendrix is exactly the tough hard nosed rebounder we lacked. He going to help us when we play guys like Bass, Millsap and Turiaf.

We don't need all five guys to run the fastbreak, Hendrix will make the team.

This guy can rebound and run the floor.
His offense probably won't translate, but he's solid down low.
I absolutely love this guy. He was easily in my top 20.
You gotta watch the guy play to appreciate what he does:

Can't complain about a big bulky rebounder...he is exactly what we need off the bench.

Re: With the 49th pick, GS selects Richard Hendrix
I have no fracking idea what just happened.
Some love this draft, some find a way to piss on the outcome. In either case, these two players are now Warriors (unless we trade them very quickly.... and that is a Warriors with a capital W) and I will continue with my homerish ways and root for them! I love my hometown teams because I have lived here a long time... I want them to succeed and I know that Mullin and Co. are doing their best... much better than I (or MOST posters on this board) could do. Go Warriors!

I just don't like how we didn't get a PG or some sort. We added depth in our deepest position... Wright Harrington Pietrus etc.

Well AI's the alter-ego one of our less sensible posters anyways... about as funny as that same poster too (makes sense)
