I don't think there will be a superstar at #7 this year, so it would be hard to blow this one.

2004 - Is the Biedrins promise true? If Mully wants him, I want him. Trust in Mully! Who is Philly gonna take? They brought Biedrins in for a last minute workout. We'll see.. LOL@Toronto taking Araujo! Philly takes Iggy. It's Biedrins!

2005 - I like Granger but I see Portland taking him. Omg, they took Webster! Toronto takes Charlie V?? Reach! Granger and Green falling. Uh oh Frye is there, yes NY took him. Granger! Granger! "With the 9th pick of the 2005 NBA draft the Golden State Warriors select.. Ike Diogu, Arizona St. Ike is not here" D'oh! WTF

2006 - LOL@Atlanta taking Sheldon. Gay is falling, omg omg omg.. D'oh! Dammit, one pick away, aarghIhatfugdammit.... Just pick Brewer or Thabo.. But stay away from POB! Warriors take POB. Typical.

2007 - I want Stuckey! Damn, he goes #15. Oh well. I don't care who we take, its the 18th pick, Zzz. Just stay away from Jason Smith. Warriors take Belinelli. Whatever. OMG, Jrich traded?!?

2008 - I predict Gordon falls to #14. Damn, he goes to the Clips #6. Randolph falling, could it be? Oh noes, Koufus/Robin are still on the board, I'm scared! YES WE GOT RANDOLPH!

Yeah one coin flip away from Rudy Gay was the worst feeling in my stomach.

I personally don't think Rudy Gay is all that good anyways. Now would I take him over Cheesecake? Of course. But i'd be trading his ass before signing him to big money.

O'Bryant > Rudy Gay.Both are lazy, but POB isnt a key to a NBA team..Poor Memphis was relying on Gay..Dude is trash.A complete waste of space. He always has been. That's what cracks me up about the hype coming out of UCONN

I'm sure Memphis can get some value out of Gay, though. All we got from POB was heartburn.

Rudy Gay is awkwardly slow for how athletic he is, I chalk that up somewhat to laziness. They need to trade him and something else to get a real star to play alongside Mayo.

Chad Ford wrote:Analysis: The Warriors don't have a traditional point guard and while Don Nelson would prefer a veteran I think it will be hard for them to pass on Jrue Holiday if he's still on the board. Holiday isn't nearly as polished as Flynn, but he gives them some much-needed size and defense in the backcourt next to Monta Ellis. I also expect that the Warriors will take a long look at Brandon Jennings here. But his lack of size hurts him a bit.

And while were at it, I'm hearing significant buzz that Louisville's Terrence Williams is also high on the board at Golden State. Seven seems too high, but don't be surprised if the Warriors are willing to do a swap to get him.

If Thabeet slips past 3, where does he land? Sac, Washington and Sota will all probably pass on him.

I want Thabeet!! TallBallFTW!!

Thabeet or Holiday..Otherwise look to trade down and take a midget (Lawson) or a role player like T Williams or Blair.

Thabeet is terrible. Awful. Total bust.

Give me Holiday or Evans at #7.

. Thabeet is a MONSTER.. He's going to be the #1 defensive role player in the league by year 4...Mount Thabeet.

Evans has the slowest release on his J Ive seen in the lottery since Yi Jianlian.

Catchall:The Bucks traded him for Monta Ellis and did well in that trade. If they can move Biedrins and Jefferson without losing much more than Barnes and another pick, I will be genuinely impressed.Iguodala is a short-sighted contract. Overrated player.

Evans won't need a quick release, when he's in the NBA guys are gonna back so far off him like they do with Rondo. haha

Return to Golden State Warriors
