Gottlieb is the best of the ESPN crew...I agree with his rankings except for Teague...he was a 3 assist per game scrub point at Wake...

Rubio would be the ideal fit for us and I really think it would be worth it for us to move up to get him. We have plenty of tradable assets.

If we are unable to get Rubio I would love to see Johnny Flynn running our offense next year.

I don't really see anyone else besides those two having a big instant impact for us next season.

This guy...Gottlieb...evidently does not WATCH anyone actually play or notice the records of what the results are when a guy does play hoops. Easily the worst mock I have seen.

Teague ahead of Curry,Flynn, Lawson? HUH?
Holliday above Evans? Harden? Based on....what?

Mills at 11 and Mullins at 12....seriously.....was this list done before a REAL SEASON ?
Jennings seems to have moved up based on a year in Italy where he was a weak second stringer.

DeRozean had a decent year, yet #4? As best I could tell he's a SF/SG tweener, a scorer only-yet hardly top tier at that. Evidently anyone who DID well...dropped and anyone who failed to match the hype...went up..a lot.

At 7...GSW takes Teague...a tweener who figures to be available at #20. Yeah...more combo G tweeners should be a priority.

Maybe I should have got the Euroball Network on my cable.

What tradeable assets? Crawford? Want to swap Randolph or Biedrins for a G who you hardly SAW..who had 10 ppg in Europe...a bit LESS than Kosta Perovic or Jiri Welsch had in recent years? Which tradeable assets?

We need Monta to succeed as our PG. We need SOME extra depth at C/PF. Trading a lot of assets...and #7...because Rubio MAY someday be Andre Miller...but skinny and low scoring.......that MIGHT not pay.

Rubio's euro stats are misleading in my opinion. The guy has NBA game and vision written all over him. I've watched a heap of Rubio games over stream and cable and he is a very VERY smart player. Still needs years of work though. Landing Rubio, when we have the youth we already have to grow with him would be great to be a part of as a fan.

I really want Monta to succeed at PG as well. He just needs to understand that for him to be able to propell his game from regular season action figure, to playoff monster, all rely's on his ability to alter his game into a Parkeresque style of ball. He has all the tools to do it, and then some, but we'll see what he and Nellie can come up with.

Larry Riley tells ww.net STH that Curry and Evans are the PGs they like. Flynn would be the next PG choice.

Tyreke Evans would be fine with me. He's got star potential and has legit SG size at 6'5.
A Curry pick would disappoint me. The thought of two Monta's running around together gives me a stomach ache.

I could only wish a Curry pick would mean two Monta's. Curry is no Monta, sadly. Not even close.

I think you may be right Sid (although it's possible they may be trying to manipulate their way into getting Jrue). Those are the two players most talked about by other teams looking to trade positions, in particular Memphis. Also Derozan. It seems like the Ws may want people to think that's who they're picking and setting up a smokescreen (a la the Yi scam) so they can get who they really want. I really don't see them picking Curry (unless they're intending to move him elsewhere).

I'm warming up to Flynn at 7. He's a tough dynamic PG that would get easy buckets for Andris and run the fastbreak with Randolph for easy dunks and layups. Flynn's passing and court vision is already light years ahead of Monta

Memphis looking Harden at 2

Rubio droping to 4

Blair may need more surgery..Maybe on both knees..

Curry goes to GS at 7 if he's on the board...Nellie loves the kid..He's been watching a lot of film of him.

Sounds like Nellie likes everyone. The bigs, the SFs, the SGs. Not so sure about the point guards though.

Jennings trying to prove to the W's he's a pass-first PG..I remember watching this kid a couple years ago..He can flat our fly. Superior quickness FTW

Flynn cant believe how deep the PG position is in this draft..

Warriors are sitting pretty IMO

As a Knicks fan, I beg you guys, don't draft Stephen Curry. Please let him drop to us!

Anyways, Flynn is right about this PG crop being stacked.

The first tier of PG's or PG/SG's in this draft (these guys should all go top 10):
- Ricky Rubio
- James Harden
- Stephen Curry
- Tyreke Evans
- J'rue Holiday
- Johnny Flynn
- Brandon Jennings

The second-tier of PG's in this draft:
- Ty Lawson
- Jeff Teague
- Eric Maynor
- Patrick Mills
- Darren Collison

The first tier are all expected to be starters or all stars. Among the second tier, you have guys who may be steals, starter-caliber, or solid back-ups at the level of Earl Watson, Steve Blake, Antonio Daniels, Keyon Dooling.
