I called Monta and told him to go for 35 tonight. Also told him to tell Corey to drive only and forget the jump shots. And I told him to get some run for AR, but he cut me off and said he had to go....something about a class he's taking on media responses.

Pistons update: Pistons have won four straight, including Thursday's victory over Denver, and five of their last six games. . . . Detroit will be without shooting guard Richard Hamilton (severely sprained right ankle) and small forward Tayshaun Prince (small ruptured disc). Hamilton has been out since the opener, and Prince hasn't played the past 20 games. Guards Ben Gordon and Will Bynum, both missed the Denver game with sprained left ankles and are questionable. . . . The Pistons' injuries have opened up opportunities for others. Rookie forward Jonas Jerebko, taken No. 39 overall in June's draft, is starting in Prince's spot and averaging 13.4 points and 7.7 rebounds in his last seven games.
