in reality....what can the m's do right now and what do u think they will do with weaver?.....there is absolutely no way you can justify having this guy continue to start for your ball club

Just cut him. He can't even stay in one inning. The only way I see him being any good to the M's is if he's on a team they are about to play.

I say we send Weaver to A ball so he can be further humiliated before we cut him.

Meanwhile, Baek just had his no-hitter broken up in the sixth inning. Yeah. He didn't cost $8 million. Neither did Jake Woods. Or a thousand other freely available pitchers. This is why you don't spend $8 million on Weaver or Batista...guys who can post mid-4.00 ERAs aren't exactly hard to find.

Awww, Vidro had his 12 game hitting streak ended. :(

Not really too thrilled about this series win. I mean, it is the Royals afterall. I expected us to win, haha.

These Royals really aren't that bad, at least compared to past incarnations. Their starting rotation has been upgraded to mediocre, and with some good young hitters likeDejesus/Gordon/Buck/Teahen mixed in with solid vets like Sweeney/Brown/Sanders, they're not the doormat they used to be.

I'm happy to see that, too. The Royals and D'Rays have been terrible for the past decade, and they're both starting to show some promise. That's good for the sport.

The only team I can think of off the top my head that really has nothing going for it is the Washington Nationals. That team has no pitching, no hitting, and no defense...what a joke.
