Game #13 Atl at Car

We are riding a 2 game road winning streak. ATL has been somewhat struggling. Really thought this was a game we could win. But just placed BOTH our Rookie DT's on the IR. Ouch. That will hurt. Atlanta will run up the gut on us all day long.

Who the hell are our starting DT's now??? Good God why do we even have a defense this year? We might as well just invite teams to score on us?!?! I mean this is terrible, our LB corps has been so bothered by injuries that even the backups have been injured, and in some cases the backups of those backups too! Our Defensive backs are massively underachieving (aside from Gamble), and outside of Charles Johnson (and maybe this Kieser guy) our DLine might as well not exist! Atlanta will have a field day on us with their Offense, but I think that the game will still be closer than expected with the recent revival of our run game.

23 - 7 lead at the half. Cam has 2 TD passes, 0 TO's. Defense playing great. Very happy with the progress of the team. Keep it going!

Horrible 3rd by Carolina. Atlanta takes 24-23 lead at start of the 4th. Cam has two INT's n the 3rd. Gonna have to get it together if they dont want to blow this game.

Cam leads Caolina down to the 18 for a go ahead FG, and Mare misses. He sucks and will be run out of town at the end of the season.

Julio Jones gets a 72 yrd TD pass. Carolina needs a TD and 2 pt conversion to tie.

Got the ball down around the red zone, but turned it over on downs. Lost 31 - 23.

Defense played like poop. That's the only way to put it.

The Kasay/Mare switch ranks up there in the "bad moves by Hurney" department. Kasay has a long of 53 and is 26/31 this year. Mare is 19/25 with a 45 long.

I don't see how he's back next year. We should have kept Kasay one more year and drafted a kicker in the upcoming draft. I think we'll draft that kicker but dropping Kasay left a sour taste for fans. Replacing him with a less talented kicker was even worse.
