Game# 13 Atlanta at Carolina

A mismatch on paper as 11 - 1 Atlanta vists 3 - 9 Carolina. But his is a rivalry game. Panthers had Atlanta beat early in the year, and the Falcons pulled a miracle. Anthing can happen. But my gut tells me our offense will get points, but our defense will give up more points. Not feeling a victory today, but hoping for one.

Panthers up 7 - 0 early after Cam hits Olsen for a TD. Terrific start. Defense gets a sack and we get the ball back after 3 and out.

Panthers play a very good first half. Up 16 - 0 at the half. But need to get TD's, not so many FG's.

Falcons rally to 23 - 13. Panthers need to run time and score and win this time!

Int by Thomas Davis gives Carolina the ball back. Cam with a 53 yard TD pass to DeAngelo - a screen that Williams took to the house. Panthers up 30 -13. Cam is 23/35 for 287 yards and 2 TD. Great day for the Panthers.

Garbage TD at the end. Final 30 - 20.

Shame about the Chiefs loss and a couple of the other winnable ones. The Panthers are a .500 team with a bad record.
