BAL: LHP Adam Loewen (6-6, 5.37 ERA in 2006)Loewen appeared in 22 games (19 starts) for the Orioles last year and logged 112 1/3 innings of work. Despite his struggles in 2006, the left-hander went 2-1 against the Yankees with a 2.63 ERA, striking out 23 batters in 24 innings while in the Bronx.

NYY: RHP Mike Mussina (15-7, 3.51 ERA in 2006)
Mussina will face his old team in his first start of 2007. The right-hander made five Grapefruit League starts this spring, pitching 19 innings with five strikeouts and four walks

Player to watch
Orioles slugger Miguel Tejada has roughed up Mussina throughout his career. The shortstop owns a .419 batting average against the right-hander, including four home runs and 13 RBIs

I'm interested in seeing if Adam Loewen makes any progress this year. STJ (the Blue Jays mod) worships the guy.

Dice K didn't impress me. He pitched against the Royals, thats like pitching to a AAA team. I want him to pitch against a top hitting team in the MLB. I also would like to see how he pitches when he comes to the house of pain in the Bronx.

And then he gets 3 straight outs.

Let me guess: it's time to dispand the team? Get rid of all these bums!!!

We could go 1-10 and I am still confident that we would win the division.

Nah, this is normal: Adam Loewen always owns the Yankees.

Bad defense and bad situational hitting, where have we seen this before?
