I agree if they catch lightning in a bottle. Everything would have to come together at the right time.

The Ravens won a Super Bowl with Joe Flaccid and a dominant defense and the Giants won 2 Super Bowls with the bad manning brother and a dominant defense.

We took care of business but offensively that was ugly . Against good teams we haveve got to find a way to keep Burton involved because against good teams hes needed to control the back end because you can only fool the good teams with misdirection involving 3 guys for so long .

Nagy needs to get better in his play calling in the 2nd half. You don't see as much deception plays, and in general they become more predictable.

Mitch's weakness still remains the blitz. In general when he gets pressured. He is getting better compared to where he was at to start the season, but it's not a coincidence that pretty much all his bad games come against teams that get pressure and have a tough dline recently.

Once he gets that part of his game down, this team is going to be really scary. And they are already damn good.

Take away the dumb pick and Mitch played solid. His feet are so good scrambling for first downs

There is only so much deception that you can run from the gun . This offense will not be able to take a step until MItch gets better playing under center and we get better overall running the ball .

If you look at the Rams they have tremendous run/pass balance but also tremendous balance in the gun/under center playcalling aspects as well. We are all gun all the time and so its much harder to run a ton of misdirection when you are trying to do it with Gabriel,Cohen,Miller, and Robinson because those LBs are only gonna get fooled so much and then they are gonna start playing more zone and funneling guys to certain areas where they can gang tackle and lay big hits .

Starting to look like a team of destiny.

One thing that worries me is our kicking game. FFS.. you don't even feel confident when Parkey is kicking even a 35-yarder. There's no margin for error to have a kicker like that. Going to pop its ugly head out at the worst of times. Or how about not even to be able to kick off into the endzone. I mean how many times his f'ing kickoffs going to go out of bounds?

Mitchell moves up another spot into 3rd. Behind only Brees and Mahomes... in Total QB Rating.

Was at the game. The atmosphere was playoff-like. This team can do something special.
I'm not here to argue.

Once he learns the offense more and is comfortable keeping his eyes up when he's flushed out of the pocket, he'll be truly dangerous. He's 14th in the pass portion of the QBR and it's mostly his inability to do just that. Early on he was missing wide open guys on deep passes and he fixed that with confidence. I think we will see the same development in the scramble to throw department.
