Bears @ Skins: Monday 7:15 ESPN

Clearly the top two issues with this team are Nagy and Trubisky.

Nagy's top issues. Doesn't want to run the ball as much as he should. Second, it seems like he doesn't have much confidence in Trubisky to not mess up. These two things have been leading to a lot of dead drives. This prevents Tru from getting into a rhythm which leads to his issues.

The thing that really disappointed me is that there was no improvement in Tru's skills. The issues he had the past two seasons are still the issues he has now. He puts the ball in bad spots and he makes bad throwing decisions (throwing in traffic). With that being said, just like last year, when he starts getting in a rhythm he slings the ball and will make 5 really good throws in a drive.

I think Nagy needs to say F*** it and let Tru loose as he did in the second half against the Eagles last year and that last drive against the Packers in week one (disregard the INT, that had less to do with talent and more with decision making). He needs a lot of crossing routes and bootlegs because anything down field will be iffy. After he gets into the rhythm that'll will open up the run game and the deep game.

Doing this against the Redskins (and the Raiders in two weeks) is probably the best time to do it because the schedule is about to be crazy and this will be the easiest game in a while but still be a good test. Last year it was ok to slowly get it together on offense because the schedule wasn't that bad but this year is a deferent beast. If we don't get it together we could be fighting for third place in the division with the Vikings.

We've played against really good defenses the first 2 weeks. Trubisky has to do better against the Skins.

Yes, looking like a signature game.
The offense looks like it may be settling in.

OK, with two INTs today, do we call this a signature game for Clinton-Dix, too?

Hopefully it is, he already matched Amos pick total from last year. If he provides that much help in coverage, then we see what type of day this defense can have.

Hopefully the run game can develop some sort of identity.
It will help Mitch a lot.
The carries are scattered between 3 guys pretty evenly without any of them making that much of an impact individually. Patterson, Cohen, David surprised mike James hasn’t been in it. Maybe Nagy forgot about him. The revolving door is kind of nauseating, it’s maddon-esque Right now I’m leaning towards David having the bulk of the snaps with Cohen being used as lighting or on the line of scrimmage as a receiver.

Mitch did much better but only because has so bad the 2 weeks prior. His ball placement still leaves a lot to be desired though .Thats the difference between being just average and being great.

The defense feasted on a wounded animal as they should .

We are never gonna be a running team under Nagy and it looks like something we will simply have to accept.

First real test of the season as a loss really hurts and puts us in a bad way come December because do we really want to go into the holiday season needing a win

@Lions on Turkey day
Cowboys on Monday Night
@GB
Chiefs
@Vikings

when you consider there are 5 teams without a loss in the conference right now we have to think division but also wild card and we really cant afford any home losses to conference teams let alone division opponents
Got a Gold Name Plate that says "I wish you would"
