Does anyone know what we traded for that pick? Miller is another player that I liked coming into the draft.

Traded a fourth-round pick (No. 105) and a 2019 second-round pick to Patriots for the No. 51 pick, obtained from Lions (drafted WR Anthony Miller).

Good trade. Couldnt wait another 12 months. Bears are ready to compete now.

I think we'll still need some pass-rushers to be a really solid team. I could see us finishing 8-8 or 9-7 this season with another top-10 defense and an emerging offense. Then hopefully we can grab a pass-rusher in the middle of the 1st round next year, which would hopefully put us over the top.

Kids a badass. I like him.

This trade up pick says Bears expect to win this season. Not making the playoffs is a fail.

I love Miller's swag and the chip on his shoulder. Been watching him for the last 2 seasons and we got a player. Amazing ball skills and route running, good hands. He's more twitchy than being a burner. They found their YAC, chain mover in lieu of not getting Jarvis Landry.

I like this. A guy on the fantasy sports channel called him a young OBJ. :o

Prediction is, 53 receptions 4 TDs

He's more Hines Ward, Antonio Brown to me than Odell. Odell has legit burners, Miller is more "quick" than fast, but he just knows how to get open more than anything. He has amazing ball skills so I could see where he gets some Odell comparisons thrown his way. It sounds cliche, but there are just guys that know how to play and he's one of them for sure.

Nobody should talk about OBJ comparisons, because of course. That said, Miller has a 39 inch vert (OBJ 38.5), and 4.48 pro day 40. OBJ 4.43 at combine. He compares himself to Steve Smith though. Whatever he is, the Bears have never had a receiver like this.

I like that Miller says he wants to be like Steve Smith.

My initial impression, he's a baller.

Pace apparently tried to trade up for Ridley as well.

I praised Pace for not getting bold with his first-round pick of Smith. I'm now going to praise him for being bold by trading up to get Miller. Pace is showing that he gets it. Miller is a great add. Nice job.

Everything I've read about him is that he's a great route runner too.

I'm excited about this pick
