This is also the Brian Urlacher game.

This should be an easy win, tbh.

Considering how poor and banged up their oline is, Bears defense should consistently dominate with Mack getting more of his conditioning back, and getting Quan more into the mix.

Maybe I'm feeling over confident right now, but Bears 27, Seahawks 17

As long as the Bears put two halves together they should be fine.

I still have nightmares of Russell making Urlacher look slow in 2012.

Let Howard and Cohen dominate on the offensive end and put Mitch into good positions to make plays and this should be better than last week.

Seattle's defense doesn't seem very good anymore and Wilson has one ply toilet paper protecting him. There should be no excuses and this should definitely be a win.

It will be very concerning if the manage to lose this game.

This game shouldn't even be close. Bears should win by double digits. Seahawks are limping in on one leg.

Nagy better keep his foot on the gas. Money Mitch needs to throw the ball down the field too.

Less screens. More Howard up the middle and WRs deep to open up the field.

So, Mahomes didn't have 4 touchdowns today.

He's a stud with an elite TE, WR and RB. Not sure about his offensive line but the fact that Nagy helped develop him is a good sign.

The Bears didn't put talent around Trubisky either.

I don't want to get too far ahead of this. But atm, it looks like Pace traded up for the wrong guy. Can't make that mistake.

You're way too ahead of this.

The Bears do in fact have ample talent around Mitch right now and let's give him more than one game before we declare him a bust under this system. Look at Blake Bortles today.

Forget box scores. When you watch Mitch and Mahomes play you can tell one has a better understanding of playing QB at this level right now.

Mahomes is miles ahead from Mitch in his abilities. We'll see what happens with Mitch, but early prognosis is that Mahomes has the brighter future.

Bears have talent around him right now. There can't be any excuses in that regards for him this year.

My sarcastic point exactly. The talent around Mahomes is not an excuse for Mitch. The best way to defend Mitch V Mahomes is that Mahomes plays in a more developed offense. That's a fair point. But actually, the biggest problem with Mitch has been Mitch.

and let's give him more than one game before we declare him a bust under this system. Look at Blake Bortles today.

A bust or not is not the standard Pace has to meet with this trade. If another team got a franchise quarterback lower than the Bears pick, that is what Trubisky must be to justify giving up so much.

One of the joys of working from home is that I don't miss any games, even being in Sydney. Nagy and Mitch better show up tomorrow.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

That game last year felt way different than this game this year. But agreed, this is a game in which this team needs to take a step forward.

Very excited!

Three of the four teams I follow most closely all won on last second field goals this weekend. Weird. If the Bear's make it four, that's okay. But I'd feel a whole lot better if it didn't get down to that ..... and it shouldn't.

I won't defend the trade, but I'll defend Mitch. He's a 2nd year player who had a bad half. Failure is an opportunity to grow, and every player has had a bad half.

I look forward to the day when I have complete confidence that the Bears will win games they should win.

Mahomes appears to be this year’s Wentz. Phenomenal.

The Mahomes-Trubisky comparison is inescapable, but I just want to see Trubisky get better...please.

I couldn't wait THAT long for Mitch to develop bro. Besides all Blake did was NOT mess up the position the defense put him in.
